(1): the cot is installed crosswise with respect to the vehicle and takes up at least two seats. The child's head must be opposite
the vehicle's door.
(2): move the front seat as far forward as possible to install the child seat backwards from driving direction, then move it back
to maximum so it does not come into contact with the child seat.
(3): child seat facing forward: position the child seat backrest in contact with the seat backrest. In any case, remove the rear
seat headrest that the child seat is positioned against. This should be done before positioning the child seat (please see the
paragraph "Rear headrest" in chapter "Knowing your vehicle"). Do not move the seat in front of the child back more than half
the distance and do not incline it more than 25°.

LOADING ADVICE
Transporting items in the load
compartment
Depending on the vehicle, rings 1 and 2
fig. 218 and 1 fig. 219 prevent the
transported items from moving. The
number of rings and their locations may
vary, depending on the vehicle.
IMPORTANT The rings 1
fig. 218 fig. 219 serve exclusively to
prevent the load from moving. The load
must be previously fastened to the rings
2 fig. 218 on the vehicle's platform.

tyres to wear early and heat up abnormally,
with obvious consequences for safety;
poor road grip, risk of blow-out or treads
detaching. Inflation pressure depends on
the load and the speed. Adjust the
pressure according to the conditions of

In the case of towing a vehicle, the total circulating volume (vehicle + trailer) must not be exceeded. However, the rear MMTA
can be exceeded within the limit of 15% and the MMAC can be exceeded within the limit of 10% or 100 kg (the first of these
two limits to be reached). In both cases, the maximum speed of both must not exceed 80 km/h (depending on the local
legislation) and the tyre pressure must be increased 0.2 bar (3 PSI).
Given that the engine performance and behaviour on inclines are subject to a drop when going uphill, we advise reducing the
maximum allowed volume by 10% for altitudes of 1,000 meters and by 10% for every extra 1,000 meters.
