ATP (Automatic Travel Preset):
This feature Allows you to set the
strongest local radio stations
without losing your original
manually set preset stations for
AM/FM1/FM2.
To set the stations:Select the desired frequency band. Press and hold
the ATP button until ATP appears in the display. When the stations are
filled, the first station will begin to play.
To select a specific ATP station:Select the desired frequency band. If
ATP does not appear in the display, indicating you are in ATP mode,
press the ATP button. While ATP is displayed, select the desired station
by pressing the corresponding memory preset (1±6).
P.SCN (Preset scan):This feature
allows you to scan your manual
preset stations and your auto travel
preset stations. To scan your
presets: Select the desired
frequency band to scan your manual
presets in that frequency band. Press the ATP button to enter ATP mode
and scan your Auto Travel Presets. Press P.SCN to hear a brief sampling
of all available preset stations. To stop, press P.SCN again.
DISP (Display):Press and release
DISP to toggle between clock and
audio display.
Setting the clock:Press and hold DISP until the time display blinks. To
adjust the minutes, press
repeatedly. Press and hold for a fast
advance.
To adjust the hours, press
repeatedly. Press and hold for a fast
advance. Press DISP to start the clock.
Note:This audio system has a 24 hour clock.
Clock reset:You can advance your clock setting to the nearest half
hour. Press DISP until the time flashes in the display. Press the memory
preset 6 to advance to the nearest half hour.
5.DISC + :This button is not
operational on the Ford GT.

6.DISC Ð :This button is not
operational on the Ford GT.
7.SCN(Scan):Press for a brief
sampling of all listenable radio
stations or CD tracks. Press again to
stop.
8.RPT (Repeat):Press to play the
current track repeatedly. Press again
to stop.
9.SHF (Shuffle):Press to play all
the tracks on the current CD in
random order. Press again to stop.
10.Memory presets:To set a
station, press BAND to select
frequency band AM/FM1/FM2; tune
to a station, press and hold a preset
button until sound returns. You can save a total of 18 stations in your
memory presets; six in AM, six in FM1, and six in FM2.
11.Audio button:Press repeatedly
to cycle through the following
modes:
Bass:Turn the audio button left/right to decrease/increase the bass
output.
Treble:Turn the audio button left/right to decrease/increase the treble
output.
Balance:Turn the audio button left/right to shift the speaker sound
between the left/right speakers.
Fade:Turn the audio button left/right to shift the speaker sound
between the front/rear speakers.
Note:Using the fade feature to shift the sound to the rear speakers will
result in no sound.
Volume:When no other mode is listed in the display (i.e. bass, treble)
the audio control functions as a volume control. Turn the control to the
left/right to decrease/increase the volume output.

12.CD/POWER:Press and hold to
turn the system on/off. Press and
release repeatedly to cycle through
radio and CD player mode.
CD units are designed to play commercially pressed 4.75 in (12
cm) audio compact discs only. Due to technical incompatibility,
certain recordable and re-recordable compact discs may not
function correctly when used in Ford CD players. Irregular
shaped CDs, CDs with a scratch protection film attached, and CDs
with homemade paper (adhesive) labels should not be inserted
into the CD player. The label may peel and cause the CD to
become jammed. It is recommended that homemade CDs be
identified with permanent felt tip marker rather than adhesive
labels. Ballpoint pens may damage CDs. Please contact your
dealer for further information.
13.BAND:Press repeatedly to
cycle through AM/FM1/FM2
frequency bands.
14.SOUND:Press to change the
sound effect of the current playing
media from FLAT, JAZZ or ROCK
modes. One of these modes will be selected at all times. These are
equalizer settings that can be used to modify the sound. Press and hold
SOUND to activate the enhanced bass mode. BASS will appear in the
display. To cancel, press and hold again.
Beep Tones:Your audio system will automatically beep when a button is
pushed. To turn off the beep tones:
1. Press and hold CD POWER until the system turns off.
2. With the ignition in the accessory position (ACC), press CD POWER
and
on the audio control simultaneously until 'b-oF' is displayed.
This will signify the tones have been turned off.
3. To turn the tones on again, repeat steps 1 and 2. 'b-oN' will be
displayed when the tones are active again.
