The engine has been designed to be usedwith Castrol and Ford Engine Oil, whichgives a fuel economy benefit whilemaintaining the durability of the engine.
Adding oil: If you are unable to find an oilthat meets the specification defined byWSS-M2C950-A, you must use SAE0W-30 that meets the specificationdefined by ACEA A5/B5.
Using oils other than the one specified canresult in longer engine cranking periods,reduced engine performance, reduced fueleconomy and increased emission levels.
Castrol engine oil recommended.
