Note: The passenger compartment fuse
box is on the right-hand side for right-hand
drive vehicles.
Pre-fuse Box Your vehicle has a pre-fuse box in the
engine compartment attached to the
positive battery post. This box contains
several high current fuses. If replacement
of these high current fuses is required, see
an authorized dealer. Engine Compartment Fuse Box
WARNING: Always disconnect the
battery before servicing high current
fuses. WARNING:
To reduce risk of
electrical shock, always replace the
cover to the power distribution box
before reconnecting the battery or
refilling fluid reservoirs.
The engine compartment fuse box has
high-current fuses that protect your
vehicle's main electrical systems from
overloads.
When you disconnect and reconnect the
battery, you need to reset some features.
See Changing the 12V Battery (page 272).
Lift the release lever at the rear of the cover
to remove it.

High Current Fuse Box
Your vehicle has a pre-fuse box in the
engine compartment below the engine
compartment fuse box. This box contains
several high current fuses. If replacement
of these high current fuses is required, see
an authorized dealer.
Passenger Compartment Fuse Box The fuse box is behind the access cover on
the outermost side of the steering column.

Engine Compartment Fuse Box
WARNING: Always disconnect the
battery before servicing high current
fuses. WARNING:
To reduce risk of
electrical shock, always replace the
cover to the power distribution box
before reconnecting the battery or
refilling fluid reservoirs.
The engine compartment fuse box has
high-current fuses that protect your
vehicle's main electrical systems from
overloads. When you disconnect and
reconnect the battery, you need to reset
some features.

at the rear of the cover to remove it.

Power Distribution Box - Bottom
There are fuses on the bottom of the fuse
box. To access the bottom of the fuse box: Towards the front side of the
vehicle.

1. Release the two latches on both sides of the fuse box.

Raise the rear side of the fuse box from
the cradle. 3.
Move the fuse box toward the rear side
of the engine compartment and rotate
as shown.
4. Pivot the rear side of the fuse box to access the bottom side.
5. Release the two latches to open the fuse cover.
