This system will provide illumination of the
vehicle's interior courtesy lamps when either
outside driver's door keypad is pressed or when
the remote entry system is used to unlock the
door or sound the personal alarm. The system
will automatically turn off after approximately
25 seconds or when the ignition is turned to the
RUN or ACC position.

increase the volume and to the left to decrease
the volume. Dots illuminate in the display to
show relative volume level.

the volume will come back to a
ªnominalº listening level when the
ignition is turned back on. However, if
the radio power is turned off with the

There are four ways for you to tune in a
particular station. You can manually locate the
station using the ªTUNEº button, ªSEEKº to the
station, ªSCANº to the station or select the
station by using the memory buttons. These four
methods are described below.

You can change the frequency up or down
one increment at a time by pressing and
releasing either the right (
a) or left (
b) side
of the ªTUNEº or ªTUNE/DISCº button. To

down either the right or left side of the
button.

Pressing the ªSCANº button will begin the
scan mode up the frequency band, stopping
on each listenable station for approximately
five seconds. The band indicator (AM, FM1,

to select up to 6 preset AM stations and 12
FM stations (6 in FM1 and 6 in FM2).

Follow the steps below to set these buttons to
the desired frequencies:

1. Select a band, then select a frequency.

hold the button until the sound returns. That
station is now held in memory on that
