FIVE PASSENGER SECOND-ROW

SEAT VERSATILITY
Fold seats in half, prop them up or remove them entirely.
Here’s how to do it:
Fold One or Both Rear Seats
1. Make sure the head restraints are in their lowest position.
2. Pull the strap on the side of the seatback.
3. Fold the seatback forward.
4. The seat folds flat.
NOTE If you can see the red on the pull strap, then the
seat is not latched. Push down on the seat until the red flag
disappears. When you cannot see the red flag, then you
know that the seat is in its latched and locked position.
To Prop One or Both Seats
5. Pull the strap on the rear of the seatback.
6. Push down on the yellow lever and then
push the folded seat up and forward.
7. Lift the support rod.
8. Connect the support rod to the seat frame to
prevent the seat from falling backward.
To Remove the Seats
9. Pull the strap on the rear of the seatback
and push the seat forward.
NOTE If you can see the red on the pull strap, then the
seat is not latched. Push down on the seat until the red
flag disappears. When you cannot see the red flag,
then you know that the seat is in its latched and
locked position.
10. Push down on the yellow locking lever
and rock the seat to remove.
11. Lift the seat to remove.

LOCATION OF SPARE TIRE
AND TOOLS
Your tools are behind a cover in the
sidewall at the left-rear of the cargo
area. Your spare is under the vehicle. The
spare tire is for emergency use only and
should be replaced as soon as possible.
For complete details on changing your
tire, refer to the Changing a Road Wheel
in the Wheels and Tires chapter of your
Owner’s Manual.
EASY FUEL® SYSTEM
» Put your vehicle into park (P) and
switch off the ignition.
» Open the fuel-filler door, insert the
nozzle and begin fueling.
» Wait 5–10 seconds between the
time the refueling nozzle shuts off
and you remove the nozzle from the
vehicle. This allows residual fuel in
the nozzle to drain into the tank.
» When using a portable fuel
container, slowly insert the fuel
funnel (located in the glove box)
and pour the fuel into the funnel.

NOTE Do not use aftermarket funnels
as they do not work with the Easy Fuel
system and may cause damage. Clean
the funnel after each use, or dispose of
it properly.
FUEL TANK CAPACITY AND
FUEL INFO
Your vehicle has a 15.8 gallon (60L) fuel
tank capacity. Use only UNLEADED fuel
with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Do
not use fuel
E20 - E85 ethanol (E85), diesel
fuel, fuel-methanol, leaded fuel or any
other fuel because it could damage or
impair the emission control system.
TIRE PRESSURE
MONITORING SYSTEM
Your vehicle displays a low tire pressure
warning light
in your instrument
cluster when one or more of your tires
are significantly under-inflated. If this
happens, stop and check your tires as
soon as possible, then inflate them to
the proper pressure. Refer to the Tire
Pressure Monitoring System section in
the Wheels and Tires chapter of your
Owner’s Manual for more information.
BLIND SPOT INFORMATION SYSTEM
(BLIS) WITH CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT
BLIS aids you in detecting vehicles that may have entered
into your blind spot zone. The cross traffic alert feature
warns you of vehicles approaching from the sides when
the transmission is in reverse (R).
BLIS and cross traffic alert display a yellow indicator light
in your exterior mirrors. Cross traffic alert also sounds
tones and displays messages to warn you from which
direction vehicles are approaching. Refer to the Driving
Aids chapter in your Owner’s Manual for more information.
REAR WINDOW BUFFETING
When one or both of your rear windows are open, you may
hear a pulsing noise. To alleviate this, lower a front window
until the noise subsides.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
CONFIGURABLE DAYTIME
RUNNING LAMPS*
When you switch the feature on in the information
display, daytime running lamps turn on when you
are driving, the lighting control is in the autolamps
position and the headlamps are off. You can switch the
Configurable Daytime Running Lamps feature ON or
OFF using the information display controls. See the
Lighting chapter in your Owner’s Manual for
complete information.
