Reset the maintenance minder informati on display if you have performed the
maintenance service.
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON
(w*1.
2. Press the button to select Maintenance Info., then press the SEL/RESET
button.
3. Select Reset with the button, then press the SEL/RESET button.
u The displayed maintenance items disappea r, and the engine oil life display
returns to 100%.
To cancel the oil life reset mode, select Cancel, then press the SEL/RESET button.
*1: Models with the keyless access system have an ENGINE START/STOP button instead of an
ignition switch.

Failure to reset the Maintenance MinderTM display
after a maintenance servic e results in the system
showing incorrect maintena nce intervals, which can
lead to serious mechanical problems.
The dealer will reset the Maintenance Minder
TM
display after completing th e required maintenance
service. If someone other than a dealer performs
maintenance service, reset the Maintenance
Minder
TM display yourself.

Battery
Checking the Battery
The condition of the battery is monitored by a sensor located on the negative
terminal of the battery. If there is a pr oblem with this sensor, the information
display
*/multi-information display* will display a warning me ssage. If this happens,
have your vehicle inspected by a dealer.
Check the battery terminal s for corrosion monthly.
If your vehicle’s battery is disconnected or goes dead:
• The audio system is disabled.

When replacing the battery, the replacement must be
of the same specifications.
