Maintenance
Refilling Window Washer Fluid
Check the amount of window washer fluid.
If the level is low, fill the washer reservoir.
If the washer fluid is low, the washer level indicator
* appears on the instrument
panel or a message appears on the multi-information display *.
Pour the washer fluid carefully. Do not
overflow the reservoir.

NOTICE
Do not use engine antifreeze or a vinegar/water
solution in the windshield washer reservoir.
Antifreeze can damage y our vehicle's paint. A
vinegar/water solution ca n damage the windshield
washer pump.

Replacing Light Bulbs
Headlight Bulbs
When replacing, use the following bulbs.1.Re
move the clips using a flat-tip
screwdriver, then remove the upper part of
the air intake duct.

2.Push the tab to remove the coupler.
3. Rotat
e the old bulb to the left to remove.
4.In
sert a new bulb into the headlight
assembly and turn it to the right.
5. Insert
the coupler into the connector of the
bulb.
High beam headlight:60W (HB3)
Low beam headlight:55 W (H11)

NOTICE
Halogen bulbs get very hot when lit.
Oil, perspiration, or a scratch on the glass can cause
the bulb to overhe at and shatter.
The headlight aim is set by the factory, and does not
need to be adjusted. Howeve r, if you regularly carry
heavy items in the cargo area or tow a trailer, have
the aiming readjusted at a dealer or by a qualified
technician.
The HB3 and H11 types are halogen bulbs.
When replacing a bulb, ha ndle it by its base, and
protect the glass from contact with your skin or hard
objects. If you touch the glass, clean it with
denatured alcohol and a clean cloth.
The exterior lights' inside lenses (headlights, brake
lights, etc.) may fog temporarily after a car wash or
while driving in the rain. This does not impact the
exterior light function.
However, if you see a larg e amount of water or ice
accumulated inside the le nses, have your vehicle
inspected by a dealer.

NOTICE

Door mirrors have the side turn lights. Ha ve an authorized Honda dealer inspect and
replace the light bulbs.

pin to remove the clip.
Insert the clip with the center pin raised, and push
until it is flat.

When replacing, use the following bulbs.
1.Turn the socket
to the left and remove it.
2. Remov
e the old bulb and insert a new bulb.

When replacing, use the following bulbs.
1.Use
a Phillips-head screwdriver to remove
the bolts.
2. L
oosen the assembly by carefully prying on
the top and side edges.
u Wrap the
flat-tip screwdriver with a cloth
to prevent scratches.
Brake/Taillight: 21/5 W
Back-Up Light: 18 W
Rear Turn Signal/Taillight: 21/5 W

3.Turn the socket to th e left and remove it.
Remove the old bulb.
4. Insert a new bulb.
5. Rein
stall the light assembly by sliding it into
the hole on the body.

When replacing, use the following bulb.
1.R
emove the lens by prying on the edge of
the lens using a flat-tip screwdriver.
u Wrap the
flat-tip screwdriver with a cloth
to prevent scratches.
2. R
emove the old bulb.
3.In
sert a new bulb.

High-Mount Bra ke Light Bulb
When replacing, use the following bulb.
1.Remov
e the lens segment by prying on the
edge using a flat-tip screwdriver.
u Wrap the fla
t-tip screwdriver with a cloth
to prevent scratches.
2. Remove
the screw under each lens.
3.Pull the
high-mount brake light assembly
out of the vehicle.
4. Remove the
two mounting screws from the
light assembly.
5. Remove
the lens from the light assembly.
6.Remov
e the old bulb and insert a new bulb.

Checking and Maintaining Wiper Blades
Checking Wiper Blades
If the wiper blade rubber has deteriorated, it will leave streaks and the metal wiper
arm may scratch the window glass.
Changing the Wiper Blade Rubber
1. Lift the driver side wiper arm first, then the
passenger side.
2. Press and hold the tab, then slide the
blade
from the wiper arm.

Avoid dropping the wiper ar m; it may damage the
windshield.
