The climate control air filter is located in front of the blower unit behind the glove box.It helps to decrease the amount ofpollutants entering the car.
1. Remove the mounting screws on the downside of the glove box. OGK076020

Lubrication
To lubricate the compressor and theseals in the system, the air condition- ing should be run for at least 10 minutes each week. This is particu-larly important during cool weather when the air conditioning system is not otherwise in use.

Checking the Air Conditioning Operation
1. Start the engine and let it run at
fast idle for several minutes with the air conditioning set at the maxi- mum cold setting.
2. If the air coming out of the in-dash vents is not cold, have the air con-ditioning system inspected by yourHyundai dealer.
CAUTION:
Running the air conditioning sys-
tem for extended periods of timewith a low refrigerant level maydamage the compressor.

2. Open the glove box and remove the
mounting screws on the upside of the glove box. 4. Replace the climate control air filter
with a new one.
5. Installation is the reverse order of disassembly.
CAUTION:
Be sure to install the climate control
air filter in the direction of the arrowsign. Otherwise, it may cause noise or deterioration.

The climate control air filter is located in front of the blower unit behind the glove box.It operates to decrease the amount of pollutants entering the car. To replace the climate control air filter,refer to the page 6-18. CAUTION:
o Replace the filter every 10,000 miles (15,000 km) or once a year. If the car is being driven in severe conditions such as dusty, roughroads, more frequent climate con- trol air filter inspections and changes are required.
o When the air flow rate is decreased, it must be checked at Hyundaiauthorised repairer.

B870A01A-GAT Fixed Rod Antenna Your car uses a fixed rod antenna to receive both AM and FM broadcast signals.This antenna is a removable type. To remove the antenna, turn the antenna counterclockwise. To install the an-tenna, turn the antenna clockwise.
CAUTION:
Be sure to remove the antenna be- fore washing the car in an automatic car wash or the antenna may bedamaged.

o Crankcase ventilation hoses
Inspect the surface of hoses for evi- dence of heat and/or mechanical dam- age. Hard and brittle rubber, cracking, tears, cuts, abrasions, and excessiveswelling indicate deterioration. Particu- lar attention should be paid to examin- ing those hose surfaces nearest tohigh heat sources, such as the ex- haust manifold. Inspect the hose routing to assure that the hoses do not come in contact with any heat source, sharp edges or mov-ing component which might cause heat damage or mechanical wear. Inspect all hose connections, such as clampsand couplings, to make sure they are secure, and that no leaks are present. Hoses should be replaced immedi-ately if there is any evidence of dete- rioration or damage. 6ZF060H1-A

recommended when the filter is re-placed.
