WARNING - Windows
NEVER leave the keys in your vehicle with unsupervised
children, when the engine is
running.
NEVER leave any child unat- tended in the vehicle. Even
very young children may inad-
vertently cause the vehicle to
move, entangle themselves in
the windows, or otherwise
injure themselves or others.
Always double check to make sure all arms, hands, head
and other obstructions are
safely out of the way before
closing a window.
Do not allow children to play with the power windows. Keep
the driver’s door power window
lock switch in the LOCK posi-
tion (pressed). Serious injury
can result from unintentional
window operation by the child.
Do not extend your head, arms or body outside the win-
dows while driving.CAUTION
To prevent possible damage to the power window system,do not open or close two win-dows or more at the sametime. This will also ensure thelongevity of the fuse.
Never try to operate the main switch on the driver's doorand the individual door win-dow switch in opposite direc-tions at the same time. If this isdone, the window will stop andcannot be opened or closed.

To reset the sunroof
Sunroof needs to be reset if (in the
followings)
- Battery is discharged or discon-nected or the related fuse has been
replaced or disconnected
- The one-touch sliding function of the sunroof does not normally oper-
ate
1. The ignition switch must be in the ON position.
2. Close the sunroof completely.
3. Release the control lever.
4. Push the control lever forward until the sunroof tilts and slightly moves
up and down. Then, release the
lever.
5. Push the control lever forward until the sunroof is operated as follows:
TILT OPEN → SLIDE OPEN →
SLIDE CLOSE
Then, release the control lever. If the sunroof does not operate prop-
erly after resetting, have the system
checked by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer.

Adjusting Instrument Cluster
Illumination
When the vehicle's parking lights or
headlights are on, press the illumina-
tion control button to adjust the
brightness of the instrument panel
illumination. The brightness of the instrument
panel illumination is displayed.
If the brightness reaches to the maximum or minimum level, an
alarm will sound.
Fuse switch ON
This warning message illuminates if
the fuse switch under the steering
wheel is OFF.
Turn the fuse switch ON.

Clock
With Audio system
Whenever the battery terminals or
related fuses are disconnected, you
must reset the time.
To set the time:
The ignition switch must be in the
ACC position or the ON position.
• H (Hour)
Each time you press the "H" button,
the clock will change backward by
one hour. Pressing and holding the
"H" button will change the clock
backward continuously.
Release the button at the desired
time.
• M (Minute)
Each time you press the "M" button,
the clock will change backward by
one minute. Pressing and holding the
"M" button will change the clock
backward continuously.
Release the button at the desired
time.• Display conversion
To change the 12 hour format to the
24 hour format, press the "H" and
"M" button simultaneously for more
than 4 seconds.
For example, if the "H" and "M" but-
ton is pressed when the time is 10:15
p.m., the display will change to 22:15
With Navigation system
The clock automatically sets itself to
the correct time.

To hang items, pull down the upper
portion of the hanger. (Type A)
These hangers are not designed to
hold large or heavy items.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the PowerOutlets:
Use the power outlet only when the engine is runningand remove the accessoryplug after use. Using theaccessory plug for prolongedperiods of time with theengine off could cause thebattery to discharge.
Only use 12V electrical acces- sories which are less than 15Ain electrical capacity.

Close the cover when not in use.
Some electronic devices can cause electronic interferencewhen plugged into a vehicle’spower outlet. These devicesmay cause excessive audiostatic and malfunctions inother electronic systems ordevices used in your vehicle.
Push the plug in as far as it will go. If good contact is notmade, the plug may overheator the internal temperaturefuse may open.WARNING
Avoid electrical shocks. Do not
place your fingers or foreign
objects (pin, etc.) into a power
outlet or touch the power outlet
with a wet hand.

Vehicle with automatic transaxle:
1.Always carry the smart key with
you.
2.Make sure the parking brake is applied.
3.Make sure the shift lever is in P (Park).
4.Depress the brake pedal.
5 Press the Engine Start/Stop but- ton.
✽ ✽ NOTICE
• Do not wait for the engine to warm
up while the vehicle remains sta-
tionary.
Start driving at moderate engine
speeds. (Steep accelerating and
decelerating should be avoided.)
• Always start the vehicle with your foot on the brake pedal. Do not
depress the accelerator while
starting the vehicle. Do not race
the engine while warming it up.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the vehi-
cle:
If the engine stalls while you are in motion, do not attemptto move the shift lever to the P(Park) position.
If traffic and road conditionspermit, you may put the shiftlever in the N (Neutral) posi-tion while the vehicle is stillmoving and press the EngineStart/Stop button in anattempt to restart the engine.
Do not push or tow your vehi- cle to start the engine.
CAUTION
To prevent damage to the vehi-cle:
Do not press the EngineStart/Stop button for more than10 seconds except when thestop lamp fuse is blown.
When the stop lamp fuse isblown, you can't start the enginenormally. Replace the fuse witha new one. If you are not able toreplace the fuse, you can startthe engine by pressing andholding the Engine Start/Stopbutton for 10 seconds with theEngine Start/Stop button in theACC position.
For your safety always depressthe brake and/or clutch pedalbefore starting the engine.

Changing a Tire with TPMS
If you have a flat tire, the Low Tire
Pressure Telltale will illuminate. If you
believe you have a flat tire or feel any
vehicle instability, take your foot off
the accelerator pedal and let the
vehicle slow down while driving
straight ahead. Do not apply the
brakes immediately or attempt to pull
off the road as this may cause a loss
of control resulting in an accident.
When the vehicle has slowed to such
a speed that it is safe to do so, brake
carefully and pull off the road. Drive
off the road as far as possible and
park on firm, level ground. If you are
on a divided highway, do not park in
the median area between the two
traffic lanes. Replace the flat tire with
the spare tire (if equipped).The spare tire (if equipped) does not
come with a tire pressure monitoring
sensor. When the low pressure tire or
the flat tire is replaced with the spare
tire, the Low Tire Pressure Telltale
will remain on. Also, the TPMS
Malfunction Indicator will illuminate
after blinking for one minute if the
vehicle is driven at speed above 15.5
mph (25 km/h) for approximately 20
minutes.
Once the original tire equipped with
a tire pressure monitoring sensor is
reinflated to the recommended pres-
sure and reinstalled on the vehicle,
the Low Tire Pressure Telltale and
TPMS Malfunction Indicator will go
off within a few minutes.
If the indicators do not extinguish
after a few minutes, please visit an
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Each wheel is equipped with a tire
pressure sensor mounted inside the
tire behind the valve stem (except for
the spare tire). You must use TPMS
specific wheels. It is recommended
that you always have your tires serv-
iced by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer as soon as possible.

CAUTION
To prevent damaging your tire
pressure sensor, never use apuncture-repairing agents ortire sealants to repair and/orinflate a low pressure tire. Ifused, you will have to replacethe tire pressure sensor.
