obtain maximum performance with
UNLEADED FUEL, as well as mini-
mize exhaust emissions and spark
plug fouling.

Your new vehicle is designed to use
only unleaded fuel having an octane
number ((R+M)/2) of 87 (Research
Octane Number 91) or higher. (Do not
use methanol blended fuels.)
5.0 engine
Your new vehicle is designed to use
only unleaded fuel having an octane
number ((R+M)/2) of 87 (Research
Octane Number 91) or higher. For
improved vehicle performance, premi-
um unleaded fuel with an octane
number ((R+M)/2) of 91 (Research
Octane Number 96) or higher is rec-
ommended. (Do not use methanol
blended fuels.)

Edit settings after shifting to P
This warning message illuminates if
you try to select the other User
Settings item except Head-up dis-
play and driving assist items when
driving.
For safety, change the User Settings
after parking the vehicle and moving
the shift lever to P (Park) position.
Quick guide (Help)
If you press and hold the OK button
in the User Settings Mode, explana-
tion about the selected item is dis-
played in the cluster.
Trip Computer Mode
This mode displays driving informa-
tion like the tripmeter, fuel economy,
and so on.

One Touch Turn Signal
The one touch turn signal function will be deactivated.
The lane change signals will blink 3, 5, or 7 times when the turn signal lever is
moved slightly.

Ambient Light
The ambient light of interior will turn off.
The ambient light of interior will turn automatically on or off.
The ambient light of interior will turn on.
Head Lamp Delay
The head lamp delay function will be activated.
The headlamp delay function will be deactivated.

Parking assist system malfunc-
tion (if equipped)
This warning is displayed if there is a
problem with the Parking Assist
System. We recommend you to have
the vehicle inspected by an author-
ized retailer of Genesis Branded
products.

Lights
This indicator displays which exterior
light is selected using the lighting
control.
Front Wiper
This indicator displays which wiper
speed is selected using the wiper

Anti-lock Brake System
(ABS) Warning Light
This warning light illuminates:
Once you set the Engine Start/Stop
button to the ON position.
- It illuminates for approximately 3
seconds and then goes off.
When there is a malfunction with
the ABS (The normal braking sys-
tem will still be operational without
the assistance of the anti-lock
brake system).
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized retailer
of Genesis Branded products.
Electronic Brake force
Distribution (EBD)
System Warning Light
These two warning lights illuminate
at the same time while driving:
When the ABS and regular brake
system may not work normally.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized retailer
of Genesis Branded products. Parking Brake & Brake Fluid
Warning Light
Driving the vehicle with a warn-
ing light ON is dangerous. If the
Parking Brake & Brake Fluid
Warning Light illuminates with
the parking brake released, it
indicates that the brake fluid
level is low.
In this case, have your vehicle
inspected by an authorized
retailer of Genesis Branded
products.

Multi-View Camera System
(if equipped)
The Multi-View Camera System can
assist in parking by allowing the driv-
er to see around the vehicle.Press the multi-view camera button
to turn on the system with the engine
running. Re-press the button again to
turn off the system
Operating conditions
- When the Engine Start/Stop button
is in the ON position
- When the shift lever is on D, N or R
- When the vehicle speed is lower
than 9 mph (15 km/h)

The camera may not work normally

The multi-view camera system
is a supplemental system to
assist you in parking. However,
the screen displays an integrat-
ed image, which combines 4
images from the front/rear/right/
left cameras. Therefore, the
actual parking line locations
may differ from the image dis-
played on the screen.
ALWAYS look around your vehi-
cle to make sure there are no
objects or obstacles before
moving the vehicle.

NOTICE
• When vehicle speed is over 9 mph
(15 km/h), the multi-view camera
system will turn off. The system
will not automatically turn on
again, even though vehicle speed
gets below 9 mph (15 km/h). Press
the button again, to turn on the
system.
• When the vehicle is backing up,
the multi-view camera system will
turn ON regardless of vehicle
speed or button status. However, if
vehicle speed is over 6 mph (10
km/h) when driving forward, the
system will turn off.
• A warning appears on the system
when:
- The trunk is opened
- The driver's door is opened
- The passenger's door is opened
- The outer side view mirror is
folded
• If the multi-view camera system is
not operating normally, the system
should be checked by an author-
ized retailer of Genesis Branded
products.

separately supplied manual.
Parking Assist System
(if equipped)
The Parking Assist System assists
the driver during movement of the
vehicle by chiming if any object is
sensed within the distance of 39 inch-
es (100 cm) in front and 47 inches
(120 cm) behind the vehicle.This system is a supplemental sys-
tem that senses objects within the
range and location of the sensors, it
cannot detect objects in other areas
where sensors are not installed.

ALWAYS look around your vehi-
cle to make sure there are not
any objects or obstacles before
moving the vehicle in any direc-
tion to prevent a collision.
Always pay close attention
when the vehicle is driven close
to objects, particularly pedestri-
ans, and especially children.
Be aware that some objects
may not be visible on the
screen or be detected by the
sensors, due to the objects
distance, size or material, all of
which can limit the effective-
ness of the sensor.
