o Calculation Method SB220A1-E MULTI FUNCTION SWITCH Turn Signal Operation To signal an intention to turn right, the switch lever should be pressed down. To signal an intention to turn left, theswitch lever should be pushed upwards.In both instances, the turn signal lightson one side of the car will flash and thewarning light located in the instrument cluster will flash in sympathy. Upon completion of the manoeuvre, the leverwill, under normal circumstances, re-turn to the "Off" position. However, ifthe manoeuvre involved only a small movement of the steering wheel, the signal may need to be cancelled manu-ally. If either turn signal indicator flashesmore rapidly than normal or refuses toflash at all, a malfunction of the turnsignal system may exist. SB220B1-E Lane Change Signal To indicate an intention to change lanes, moving the lever slightly towards thedirection of the relevant turn signal will cause the turn signal lights to flash. When the lever is released, it will returnto the "off" position.

SB240A1-E HAZARD WARNING SYSTEM The hazard warning system should be used whenever it becomes necessaryto stop the car in a hazardous location. The hazard warning system is operated by depressing the switch at which timeall turn signal lights will flash simulta-neously and the turn signal warninglights located within the instrument clus-ter will flash simultaneously. 1. : The washer fluid will be sprayed onto the rear window and the wiper operates while the rear win- dow wiper barrel is placed in this position.
2.ON : When the point indicates "ON",
the rear window wiper oper-ates continuously.

To use the intermittent wiper feature, place the wiper switch in the "INT"position. With the switch in this posi- tion, the interval between wipes can be varied from approximately 1 to 18 sec-onds by turning the interval adjusterbarrel. HTB020-D

SB250A1-E HEATED REAR WINDOW To operate the heated rear window de- press the switch shown. The heatedrear window will automatically turn offafter 20 minutes or when the ignition isturned off. The system may be turned off manually by depressing the switch again. HTB039CAUTION:
The inside of the rear windscreen should never be cleaned with a hard or sharp implement since damage tothe heating element may occur. Theglass should only be cleaned with asoft cloth or chamois leather with theuse only of a mild detergent or pro- prietary glass cleaner where neces- sary. Only horizontal movement ofthe cloth should be made when clean-ing the glass and care should beexercised to ensure that the heatingelements are not damaged by rings or jewellery whilst the glass is being cleaned. NOTE: The engine must be running for the heated rear window to operate.

B340G01S-EAT HEADLIGHT LEVELING DEVICE SYSTEM To adjust the headlight beam level ac- cording to the number of the passen-gers and the loading weight in the lug- gage area, turn the beam leveling switch. The higher the number of the switchposition, the lower the headlight beamlevel. Always keep the headlight beamat the proper leveling position, or head-lights may dazzle other road users. Listed below are the examples of rec- ommended switch settings. For loadingconditions other than those listed be-low, adjust the switch position so thatthe beam level may be the nearest asthe condition obtained according to the list. HTB181-D

B460B01GK-GAT Opening the Sunroof System The sunroof can be electrically opened or closed with the ignition key in the"ON" position. The sunroof is moved to its fully open position by pushing the "Open" switch, and to stop at the de-sired position, push in any switches(Open, Close, Up, Down). To close,press and hold the "CLOSE" button.Release the button when the sunroof reaches the desired position. HFC2021

B460C01GK-GAT Tilting the Sunroof System The sunroof is moved to its fully tilt up position by pushing the "UP" switch,and to stop at the desired position, push in any switches (Open, Close, Up, Down).To tilt down, press and hold the"DOWN" button. Release the buttonwhen the sunroof reaches the desiredposition. NOTE: After washing the car or after there is rain, be sure to wipe off any waterthat is on the sunroof before oper-ating it.
WARNING:
o Do not close a sunroof if anyone’s hands, arms or body are between the sliding glass and the sunroof sash, as this could result in in-jury.
o Do not place your head or arms
out of the sunroof opening at anytime.
CAUTION:
o Do not open the sunroof in se- verely cold temperature or whenit is covered with ice or snow.
o Periodically remove any dirt that
may have accumulated on the guide rails.

2. Insert the hexagonal head wrench
provided with the vehicle into the socket. This wrench can be found inthe vehicle’s trunk or glove box.
3. Turn the wrench counterclockwise to open or clockwise to close the sunroof. HGK033B460E01TB-GAT Resetting the Sunroof System If the battery has been recharged, disconnected, if the sunroof is oper-ated with the hexagonal head wrenchmanually, or if the sunroof operation isstopped by that ignition key is turned tothe "OFF" position while it is moving, you may need to reset the sunroof. To do this;
1. Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
2. With pressing "open" "up" button at
the same time, turn the ignition switch "ON".
3. If the sunroof is set like this, the
sunroof is reset with tilting up/down automatically once for all.
! CAUTION:
If the sunroof is not reset, it may not be operated properly.

6. Rear window defroster switch B670B01A-AAT Fan Speed Control (Blower Control) This is used to turn the blower fan on or off and to select the fan speed. This blower fan speed, and thereforethe volume of air delivered from the system, may be controlled manually by setting the blower control betweenthe "1" and "4" positions.
B710C01Y-AAT Side Ventilator The side vent knobs control the amount of outside air entering the vehiclethrough the side vents. These vents can also be closed, so no air enters through the side vents. To change thedirection of the air flow, turn the control knobs as desired.

With the " " mode selected, airenters the vehicle from outside and is heated or cooled according to the otherfunctions selected. With the " " mode selected, air from within the passenger compartment isdrawn through the heating system and heated or cooled according to the other functions selected. HTB036-D
NOTE: It should be noted that prolonged operation of the heating system in " " mode will give rise to mistingof the windscreen and side windows and the air within the passenger com- partment will become stale. In addi-tion prolonged use of the air condi- tioning with the " " mode selected may result in the air within the pas-senger compartment becoming ex- cessively dry.B670D01TB-EAT Air Flow Control
