SSA1110D
The SRS service reminder indicator (SRI) on the instrument panel will blink for about 6 sec-onds after the ignition key is turned to the "ON"position or after the engine is started, afterwhich the SRI should go out.
SSA1110C
The SRS consists of the following components: - Driver's Airbag Module
- Passenger's Airbag Module
- SRS Service Reminder Indicator (SRI)
- SRS Control Module (SRSCM)
The SRSCM continually monitors all elementswhile the ignition is "ON" to determine if a frontalor near-frontal impact is severe enough torequire airbag deployment. B240B01FC-GAT SRS Components and Functions
SSA1110B
o Do not tamper with or disconnect SRS
wiring, or other components of the SRS system. Doing so could result in injury, due to accidental firing of the airbags orby rendering the SRS inoperative.
o Do not install a child restraint system in the front passenger seat position. Achild restraint system must never beplaced in the front seat. The infant orchild could be severely injured or killedby an airbag deployment in case of anaccident.
o Do not allow children to ride in the front passenger seat. If older children (teenag-ers and older) must ride in the front seat, make sure they are always properly beltedand that the seat is moved back as far aspossible.
o For maximum safety protection in all types of crashes, all occupants includ-ing the driver should always wear theirseat belts whether or not an airbag isalso provided at their seating position tominimize the risk of severe injury ordeath in the event of a crash. Do not sit orlean unnecessarily close to the airbagwhile the vehicle is in motion.
o The SRS airbag system must deploy very rapidly to provide protection in a crash. If an occupant is out of position becauseof not wearing a seat belt, the airbag mayforcefully contact the occupant causingserious or fatal injuries.

ABS Service Reminder
Indicator (SRI) (If Installed)
When the key is turned to the "ON" position, the Anti-Lock Brake System will come on and thengo off in a few seconds. If the ABS SRI remainson, comes on while driving, or does not comeon when the key is turned to the "ON" position, this indicates that there may be a problem withthe ABS.If this occurs, have your vehicle checked byyour Hyundai dealer as soon as possible. Thenormal braking system will still be operational, but without the assistance of the anti-lock brakesystem.
B260F01A-AAT High Beam Indicator Light

B260D01A-AAT Turn Signal Indicator Lights
The blinking green arrows on the instrument panel show the direction indicated by the turnsignals. If the arrow comes on but does notblink, blinks more rapidly than normal, or doesnot illuminate at all, a malfunction in the turnsignal system is indicated. Your dealer shouldbe consulted for repairs. B260G01A-AAT
Low Oil Pressure Warning Light
CAUTION: If the oil pressure warning light stays on while the engine is running, serious enginedamage may result. The oil pressure warn- ing light comes on whenever there is insuf- ficient oil pressure. In normal operation, itshould come on when the ignition switch isturned on, then go out when the engine isstarted. If the oil pressure warning lightstays on while the engine is running, theremay be a serious malfunction. If this happens, stop the car as soon as it issafe to do so, turn off the engine and checkthe oil level. If the oil level is low, fill theengine oil to the proper level and start theengine again. If the light stays on with theengine running, turn the engine off immedi-ately. In any instance where the oil lightstays on when the engine is running, theengine should be checked by an authorizedHyundai dealer before the car is driven again.
CAUTION: If both ABS SRI and Parking Brake/Brakefluid level warning lights remain "ON" orcome on while driving, there may be a prob-lem with E.B.D (Electronic Brake Force Dis-tribution).If this occurs, avoid sudden stops and haveyour vehicle checked by your Hyundai dealeras soon as possible.

Passenger's Airbag
B240B04FC-D
Upon deployment, tear seams molded di- rectly into the pad covers will separate under pressure from the expansion of the airbags. Further opening of the covers then allows full inflation of the airbags. A fully inflated airbag in combination with a properly worn seat belt slows the driver's or the passenger's forward motion, thus reduc- ing the risk of head or chest injury. CAUTION: Do not install or place any accessories(drink holder, cassette holder, sticker, etc) on the front passenger's panel above the glove box in a vehicle with passenger's side air bag. OVERDRIVE OFF INDICATOR LIGHT (Not all models)
When the overdrive (4th gear) switch is turned off and the operation of overdrive (4th gear) is cancelled, the overdrive warning light (O/D OFF) will be illuminated. When the switch is at the on position, the gearbox will operate in the normal fully automatic mode and the warning light will be extinguished.

ABS SERVICE REMINDER INDICATOR (SRI)(Not all models)
When the key is turned to the "ON" position, the Anti-Lock Brake System SRI will come on and then go off in a few seconds. If the ABS SRI remains on, comes on while driving, or does not come on when the key is turned to the "ON" position, this indicates that there may be a problem with the ABS. If this occurs, have your vehicle checked by your Hyundai dealer as soon as possible. The normal braking system will still be operational, but without the assistance of the anti-lock brake system.
CAUTION: If the both ABS SRI and Parking Brake/Brake fluid level warning lights remain "ON" or come on while driving, there may be a
problem with E.B.D (Electronic Brake Force Distribution). If this occurs, avoid sudden stops and have your vehicle checked by your Hyundai dealer as soon as possible. SB210K1-E
OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT
CAUTION: If the oil pressure light illuminates when the engine is running, an insufficient oil pressure level for continued safe opera- tion of the engine exists. Continued opera- tion of the engine in this condition may result in serious engine damage. Under normal circumstances, the light will illuminate when the ignition is turned "on" and will be extinguished when the engine is started. If the oil pressure warning light illuminates whilst the engine is running, stop the engine immediately and check the engine oil level. If the level is insufficient, add the required amount of oil as indicated by the engine oil dipstick. If the light fails to extinguish when the engine is restarted, do not continue to operate the ve- hicle. If the oil pressure light illuminates during nor-mal operation and the cause is not an insuffi- cient oil level, or the light fails to illuminate when the ignition is turned "on", contact the nearest Hyundai dealer before further operat- ing the vehicle.
SB210G1-E TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR LIGHT
Operation of a turn signal is indicated by the warning light located in the instrument cluster. If the light fails to illuminate or does not flash, a malfunction within the turn signal system is indicated.
SB210J1-E HIGH BEAM INDICATOR LIGHT
The high beam indicator light will illuminate whenever the headlights are switched to high beam of flash position.
