Features of your vehicle
Auto door lock
Off - The auto door lock operation will becanceled.
Speed - All doors will be automatically locked when the vehicle speed
exceeds 15km/h (9.3mph).
Shift Lever - All doors will be automati- cally locked if the shift lever
is shifted from the P(Park)
position to the R(Reverse),
N(Neutral) or D(Drive) posi-tion.
Auto door unlock
Off - The auto door unlock operation willbe canceled.
Key Out - All doors will be automatically unlocked when the ignition key
is removed from ignition switch
(or smart key is removed from
the smart key holder).
Door - All doors will be automatically
unlocked if the driver's door is
unlocked.
Shift Lever - All doors will be automati- cally unlocked if the shift
lever is shifted to the
P(Park) position.
Headlamp escort
On - If you turn the ignition switch to theACC or OFF position with the head- lamp ON, the headlamp remain on
for about 20 minutes. And the head
lamp welcome operation will be
activated. Refer to the [LIGHTING]
in this chapter.
Off - The headlamp escort and head- lamp welcome operation will becanceled.

Maintenance
✽✽NOTICE
HID lamps have superior performance
vs. halogen bulbs. HID lamps are esti-
mated by the manufacturer to last twice
as long or longer than halogen bulbs
depending on their frequency of use.
They will probably require replacement
at some point in the life of the vehicle.
Cycling the headlamps on and off more
than typical use will shorten HID lamps
life. HID lamps do not fail in the same
manner as halogen incandescent lamps.
If a headlamp goes out after a period of
operation but will immediately relight
when the headlamp switch is cycled it is
likely the HID lamp needs to be
replaced. HID lighting components are
more complex than conventional halo-
gen bulbs thus have higher replacement
cost.
Headlight bulb
1. Open the bonnet.
2. Remove the headlight bulb cover by turning it counterclockwise.
3. Disconnect the headlight bulb socket- connector. 4. Unsnap the headlight bulb retaining
wire by depressing the end and push-
ing it upward.
5. Remove the bulb from the headlight assembly.
6. Install a new headlight bulb (without touching the bulb glass, only hold by
metal backing) and snap the headlight
bulb retaining wire into position by
aligning the wire with the groove on
the bulb.
7. Connect the headlight bulb socket- connector.
8. Install the headlight bulb cover by turn- ing it clockwise.

If the headlight aiming adjustment is
necessary after the headlight assembly is
reinstalled, consult an authorised
HYUNDAI dealer.
