32. Remove the mounting bolts (A) of bracket (RH) on
vehicle side. DANGER

33. Place a piece of plywood (A) in the trunk room as shown in the figure. Lift the battery pack in the direction (1) shown by arrow and slide (2) the cardboard (B) to location (C) to position it under
the battery pack. DANGER

34. Pull out battery pack (1) together with the cardboard (A) in the rear of vehicle. DANGER

35. Follow the procedure below to remove the battery pack
from inside the trunk room.
a. Attach carabiners (A) of sufficient capacity to hold battery weight, in the positions as shown in the
figure, then connect a belt slinger (B) to it. DANGER

d. Lift up the battery pack and remove it from the
trunk room. • Be careful that the engine crane does not contact
the
trunk lid.
• Apply protection so that no scratches or other damage occurs on the vehicle body or trunk lid.
36. Move battery pack to the workbench and place it with the upper battery cover up. To avoid battery pack damage, gently lower battery pack when setting it on its side.
