The airbag system consists of the following:

Ignoring the AIRBAG warning light in your instru-
ment panel could mean you won’t have the airbags
to protect you in a collision. If the light does not
come on, stays on after you start the vehicle, or if it
comes on as you drive, have the airbag system
checked right away.

Do not load objects over 30 lbs (13.5 kg) in the upper
position. Failure to follow this warning could cause
the cargo organizer to collapse resulting in personal
injury.
CAUTION!
Do not load objects over 100 lbs (45 kg) in the lower
position. Failure to follow this could cause damage
to the cargo organizer.

After inspecting or adjusting the tire pressure al-
ways reinstall the valve stem cap. This will prevent
moisture and dirt from entering the valve stem,
which could damage the wheel rim sensor.
NOTE:
•The TPM system can inform the driver of a low tire
pressure condition.
•The TPM system is not intended to replace normal tire
care and maintenance, nor to provide warning of a tire
failure or condition.
•The TPM system should not be used as a tire pressure
gauge while adjusting your tire pressure.
General Information

following conditions:
•This device may not cause harmful interference.
•This device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired op-
eration.

Vehicle exhaust contains carbon monoxide, a danger-
ous gas. Do not run the vehicle’s engine while
programming HomeLink. Exhaust gas can cause se-
rious injury or death.
WARNING!
Your motorized door or gate will open and close
while you are programming HomeLink. Do not
program HomeLink if people or pets are in the path
of the door or gate. A moving door or gate can cause
serious injury or death to people and pets or damage
to objects.

Do not press on rear wiper blade when closing
swing gate, as damage to the blade will result.
WARNING!
Driving with the flip-up window open can allow
poisonous exhaust gases into your vehicle. You and
your passengers could be injured by these fumes.
Keep the flip-up window closed when you are
operating the vehicle.
NOTE: The rear swing gate will lock while the rear
wiper is operating. The gate will stay locked until the
wiper is turned off and the gate is unlocked (by key,
lock switch, or key fob).
NOTE:The swing gate will lock automatically when the
vehicle begins moving.

WARNING!
Airbag Warning Light
You will want to have the airbag system ready to inflate for
your protection in an impact. The airbag system is designed
to be maintenance free. If any of the following occurs, have
an authorized dealer service the system promptly:
•Does not come on during the 6 to 8 seconds after the
ignition switch is first turned on.
•Remains on after the 6 to 8 second interval.
•Comes on for any period of time while driving.
