ODS detects the presence and position of the front passenger and adjusts or turns off airbag deployment accordingly .
Depending on the situation and type of accident, the system may:
•Deploy airbag (Adult)
•Not deploy the airbag (Unoccupied)
If the system determines that the airbag should not be deployed, the “PASSENGER AIR BAG OFF” light will illuminate .
