Sport Mode:
To enter Sport mode, move shift lever from D to left gate
To shift while in Sport mode, move shift lever up [+] to upshift
or down [–] to downshift
Some Kia vehicles are equipped with Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT ) for both automatic and manual transmissions
The following are unique driving tips of the Dual Clutch Transmission:
• To hold the vehicle stationary on an incline, the service brake or parking brake MUST be used or the gear shift MUST be in the (P) Park position
If the vehicle is held stationary by applying the accelerator pedal on a slope, the clutch/transmission may overheat, resulting in damage
• Avoid aggressive launches on steep grades as this may result in an overheated clutch and transmission
• A slight time lag may be experienced at takeoff from stand still during aggressive acceleration maneuvers
If the clutch is over-heating an amber-colored warning light will be displayed in the instrument cluster Should this condition occur,
pull over and place the vehicle in Park and idle the engine.

Rear-Camera Display*
The Rear-Camera Display system is not a safety device It is a
supplemental system that displays the view behind the vehicle through
the Standard Audio System*, UVO eServices* and the UVO eServices
with Premium Navigation* screens while the vehicle is in Reverse
The Rear-Camera Display activates when the:
1 Engine Start /Stop button* is in the ON position (green light)

Gear Shift Lever is in the R (Reverse) position
The Rear-Camera Display is not a substitute for proper and safe backing-up procedures. The Rear-Camera Display may not display every object behind the vehicle. Always drive safely and use caution when backing up.
REMINDERS:
• While camera is active, only the volume controls on the audio system can be operated
• Standard Audio System / UVO eServices System – While camera is active, only the volume controls on the Audio System can be operated
• UVO eServices with Premium Navigation System — While camera is active, only the Audio System can be operated on the Steering Wheel and Audio Control Unit Navigation features are disabled
