Make sure the parking br ake is engaged and the
shi ft le ver is in P .

Pr ess the “ENGI NE S TAR T S TOP ” switc h.
■Stopping the en gine
Engage the parking br ake and shift the shift le ver to P.

■Changing powe r modes
To change power modes wit hout tu rning on the engine, pr ess the “ENGINE S TART STOP”
sw itch wit hout de pressing the br ake pedal . T he modes can be changed i n t he f ollowing
order :

“ENGINE S TAR T STOP ” swi tch , wh ile de pressing the brake pedal .

To set the parking brake: firmly d epr es s the park-
ing brak e pe dal.
To re lease the pa rking brak e: de press the park-
ing brak e pedal ag ain.

Engaging the eme rgency fla sher switc h c auses all
th e t urn signa l ligh ts to f lash.
The eme rgency fl ashe rs can b e op erated even
when the “ENGINE S TAR T STOP ” swi tch is OFF .

If the engine doesn't star t
Make sur e th at the c orrec t operating procedur es have be en follo wed.
Mak e sur e that the br ake pedal is fi rmly
depresse d when at tempt ing to star t the eng ine.

Mak e sur e that the steering wheel lock is r eleased.
To r elease th e steering whee l lock, gently turn the
wheel l eft or right while pr essing the “ENGINE
ST ART STOP” s witch.
