Driving Position Memory (if equipped)
■Entering a position to memory
Adjust the driver’s seat, steering wheel, and outside rear view mirrors to the desired
positions. (When memorizing the front pass enger’s seat, adjust the front passenger’s
seat to the desired positions.)
While pressing the “SET” button, or within 3
seconds after the “SET” button is pressed,
press button “1”, “2” or “3” until the signal
beeps.
If the selected button has already been pre-
set, the previously recorded position will be
overwritten.
■Recalling the memorized position
Press button “1”, “2” or “3” to recall the
desired position.
■Linking driving position memory with door unlock operation (driver’s side
only)
While pressing the button to recall the posi-
tion, press the driver’s door lock switch
(either lock or unlock) until the signal
beeps.
The driving position is recalled when the
driver’s door is unlocked using the entry
function or wireless remote control and the
driver’s door is opened.
Your preferred driving position (the position of the driver’s seat, steering wheel and out-
side rear view mirrors) can be memorized and recalled by pressing a button.
The same buttons are found on the front pass enger’s side, allowing the position of the
front passenger’s seat to be memorized (if equipped).

■Folding the mirrors
Push the mirror back in the direction of the
vehicle’s rear.

■ When either “L” or “R” of the mirror select switch is selected, the outside rear view mir-
rors will automatically angle downwards when the vehicle is reversing in order to give a
better view of the ground. To disable th is function, select neither “L” nor “R”.
■ If the mirror angle adjustment switch is oper ated while the linked mirror function is in
operation, the angle and positi on of the mirrors can be remembered, and the mirrors will
operate at the angle adjusted to the last ti me the linked mirror function was operated.
However, because the mirrors move based on the angle they are in when the linked mir-
ror function is not operating, the mirror angl e when the linked mirror function is operat-
ing will also be changed if the mirrors are adjusted while the function is not operating.

BSM main switch
Pressing the switch turns the system on or off. When the switch is set to on, the switch’s
indicator illuminates. Common switch for Blind Spot Monitor function and Rear Cross
Tr a f f i c A l e r t f u n c t i o n .
Outside rear view mirror indicator
Blind Spot Monitor function:
When a vehicle is detected in the blind sp ot, the outside rear view mirror indicator
comes on while the turn signal lever is no t operated and the outside rear view mirror
indicator flashes while the turn signal lever is operated.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert function:
When a vehicle approaching from the right or left rear of the vehicle is detected, the
outside rear view mirror indicators flash.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert function buzzer (Rear Cross Traffic Alert function only)
When a vehicle approaching from the right or left rear of the vehicle is detected, a
buzzer sounds from behind the rear seat.
The Blind Spot Monitor is a system that has 2 functions;
● The Blind Spot Monitor function
Assists the driver in making th e decision when changing lanes
● The Rear Cross Traffic Alert function
Assists the driver when backing up
These functions use same sensors.
