Push down the inside lock button to lock the
door.
■Inside door handles (to unlock)
For the front doors
Pull the handle to unlock and open the
door.
When the door is unlocked, the inside
lock button will pop up.
 For the rear doors
Pull the handle to unlock the door. Pull
the handle a second time to open the
door.
When the door is unlocked, the inside
lock button will pop up.
Door Locks
The vehicle can be locked and unlocked using the entry function, wireless remote control
or door lock switches.

●Turn the engine switch off and ensure that all the doors and windows are closed.
● Confirm the type of fuel.
1Press the opener switch.
2Turn the fuel tank cap slowly and
remove it, then hang it on the back of
the fuel filler door.
After refueling, turn the fuel tank cap until
you hear a click. Once the cap is released, it
will turn slightly in the opposite direction.

*: It also comes on due to natural causes such as natural air leaks and tire inflation pressure
changes caused by temperature. Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified level.
The light will turn off after a few minutes. In case the light does not turn off even if the tire
inflation pressure is adjusted, have th e system checked by your Lexus dealer.

the mechanical key.

Turn the mechanical key clockwise to open.
1Ensure that the shift lever is in P and depress the brake pedal.
2Touch the Lexus emblem side of the
electronic key to the engine switch.
When the electronic key is detected, a
buzzer sounds and the engine switch
will turn to IGNITION ON mode.
When the smart access system with
pushbutton start is deactivated in cus-
tomization setting, the engine switch
will turn to ACCESSORY mode.
3Firmly depress the brake pedal and check that is shown on the multi-informa-
tion display.
4Press the engine switch shortly and firmly.
In the event that the engine still cannot be started, contact your Lexus dealer.

Starting the engine
If the electronic key battery becomes depleted, a warning message will be shown on the
multi-information display. Replace the battery wi th a new one. For instructions on replacing
the battery, refer to the “OWNER’S MANUAL”.
