1Press the talk switch.
2Say the phone number.
zIn the same manner as it is displayed on the
screen, “Dial ”, after saying “Dial
a number” say the phone number.
z Say the phone number one digit at a time.
For example, if the phone number is
2345678:
Say “two three four five six seven eight”
3Say “Call” or press the switch on
the steering wheel.
z When the confirmation screen appears,
say “Yes” or select “Yes” or press the
switch on the steering wheel.
INFORMATION
● In the same manner as it is displayed on
the screen, “Call types>”, after saying “Call a contact” say
the name, or the name and type of phone,
of a contact.
Fo r exam ple: “Call a contact” , “J o h n
Smith” or “Call a contact” , “Mary Davis”,
“Mobile”
● There are 4 types of phones: Home,
Mobile, Office and Other.
● Short or abbreviated names in the con-
tacts list may not be recognized. Change
names in the contacts list to full names.
● Sometimes a voice recognition result
confirmation screen will be displayed.
After confirming the result, say “Yes” or
“No” .
● When the system recognizes multiple
names from the contacts list, a name can-
didate list will be displayed on the screen.
If the desired name is not displayed on the
top of the screen, say or select the num-
ber of the name from the candidate list to
select a name from the candidate list.
● When a contact has multiple phone num-
bers registered in the contacts list, a can-
didate list will be displayed. If the desired
phone number is not displayed on the top
of the screen, say or select the number of
the desired phone number from the can-
didate list to select a phone number from
the candidate list.

z When the system recognizes multiple
phone numbers, a phone number candi-
date list will be displayed on the screen.
Pressing the
switch on the steering
wheel makes a call to the top entry on the
list. If the desired phone number is not
displayed on the top of the screen, say
the number of the desired phone number
from the candidate list to select a phone
number from the candidate list.

1Press the “MENU” button on the
Remote Touch.
2Select “Phone”.

zThe phone top screen can be displayed by
pressing the
switch on the steering
wheel.
4Check that the message inbox screen is
displayed.
: Select to change to phone mode.
Received messages can be forwarded
from the connected Bluetooth® phone,
enabling checking and replying using
the system.
Depending on the type of Bluetooth
®
phone connected, received messages
may not be transferred to the message
inbox.
If the phone does not support the mes-
sage function, this function cannot be
used.

“Full Screen”: When a call is
received, the hands-free screen is
displayed and can be operated on
the screen.
“Drop-Down” : A message is dis-
played on the upper side of the
screen and can only be operated
via the steering wheel switches.
• With 12.3-inch display: Select to
change where the screen is dis-
played between the main display
and side display.
“Main Screen” : Select to display and
operate the screen on the main dis-
play.
“Side Screen” : Select to display and
operate the screen on the side dis-

Select to set the SMS/MMS notifica-
tion popup on/off.
Select to set the e-mail notification
popup on/off.
Select to change the incoming SMS/
MMS display.
“Full Screen” : When an SMS/MMS
message is received, the incoming
SMS/MMS display screen is dis-
played and can be operated on the
screen.
“Drop-Down” : When an SMS/
MMS message is received, a mes-
sage is displayed on the upper side
of the screen.
