The indicator will come on.

Fuel Tank Cap
■Before refueling the vehicle
●Close all the doors and windows, and turn the engine switch off.
●Confirm the type of fuel.
■Opening the fuel tank cap
With the doors unlocked, press the
center of the rear edge of the fuel filler
door.
Push until you hear a click and take
your hand away to slightly open the fuel
filler door. Then open the door fully by
hand.
Turn the fuel tank cap slowly to open.
Hang the fuel tank cap on the back of
the fuel filler door.1

Trunk
■Opening the trunk
●From inside the vehicle
Press the opener switch.
If the vehicle is equipped with a power
trunk opener and closer, the trunk lid
automatically opens fully
Turn the main switch in the glove box off to
disable the trunk opener.

The trunk lid cannot be opened even with
the wireless remote control or the trunk
release button.
●From outside the vehicle
• Trunk release button
While carrying the electronic key, press the
button on the trunk lid.
When all the doors are unlocked with
the power door lock system, the trunk
can be opened without carrying the
electronic key.

■Trunk easy closer (vehicles with power trunk opener and closer)
In the event that the trunk lid is left slightly open, the trunk easy closer will automatically
close it to the fully closed position.

If the electronic key does not operate properly
■Unlocking and locking the doors
Use the mechanical key in order to perform
the following operations:
Locks all the doors
Closes the windows and moon roof

(turn and hold)
Unlocks the door
Turning the key rearward unlocks the
driver’s door. Turning the key once
again within 5 seconds unlocks the
other doors.
Opens the windows and moon roof

(turn and hold)
*: This setting must be customized at your
Lexus dealer.
■Unlocking the trunk
Turn the mechanical key clockwise to open.
