Outside rear view mirrors
â– When the mirrors are fogged up
Turn on the mirror defoggers to defog the mirrors. (ď‚®P. 1 74 )

â– One-touch adjustment of the mirror angle
(vehicles with driving position memory)
A desired mirror face angle can be entere d to memory and adjusted with the touch
of a button. ( ď‚®P. 2 8 )
Mirror angle can be adjusted using the switch when the engine switch is in
ACC or IG-ON mode.

â– Linked mirror function when reversing (vehicles with driving position memory)
The outside rear view mirrors will automatically angle downwards when the vehicle
is reversing in order to give a better view of the ground. However, this function will
not operate when the mirror select switch is in the neutral position (between L and
R).
â– Auto anti-glare function (vehicles with sports or luxury package)
When the anti-glare inside rear view mirr or is set to AUTO mode, the outside rear
view mirrors will activate in conjunction with the anti-glare inside rear view mirror to
reduce reflected light. ( ď‚®P. 4 2 )
CAUTION
â– When driving the vehicle
Observe the following precautions while driving.
Failing to do so may result in loss of control of the vehicle and cause an accident,
resulting in death or serious injury.
â—ŹDo not adjust the mirrors while driving.
â—ŹDo not drive with the mirrors folded back.
â—ŹBoth the driver and passenger side mirrors must be extended and properly
adjusted before driving.
â– When the mirror defoggers are operating
Do not touch the surface of the mirror, as it may be hot.

â– Operating the power windows after turning the engine switch OFF
The power windows can be operated for ap proximately 45 seconds even after the
engine switch is switched to ACC mode or turned OFF. They cannot, however, be
operated once either front door is opened.
â– Jam protection function
If an object becomes caught between th e window and the window frame, window
travel is stopped and the window is opened slightly.
â– When the battery is disconnected
The power windows must be initialized in order to ensure proper operation. (Per-
form for each window with the switch for each seat.)
Open the window halfway.
Fully close the window by pulling the switch up and continue holding the
switch for one second.
The indicator on the switch changes from a flashing pattern to being on when initial
settings are complete.

Observe the following precautions.
Failing to do so may result in death or serious injury.
â—ŹCheck to make sure that all passengers do not have any part of their body in a
position where it could be caught when a window is being operated.
â—ŹDo not allow children to operate the power windows.
Closing a power window on someone can cause serious injury, and in some
instances, even death.
â– Jam protection function
â—ŹNever try jamming any part of your body to activate the jam protection function
intentionally.
â—ŹThe jam protection function may not work if something gets caught just before
the window fully closes.

down.

Pressing the switch of at position for more than 10 seconds closes the moon
roof.
â– To reduce moon roof wind noise
â—ŹDrive with the moon roof switch in the position when you open and close
the moon roof manually.
â—ŹDrive with the moon roof where it has stopped when opening automatically.
â– Sunshade
The sunshade can be opened and closed manually. However, the sunshade will
open automatically when the moon roof is opened.

Opening the fuel tank cap
Perform the following steps to open the fuel tank cap.
â– Before refueling the vehicle
Turn the engine switch OFF and e nsure that all the doors and win-
dows are closed.
â– Opening the fuel tank cap
Open the fuel filler door.
Turn the fuel tank cap slowly to
open.
Hang the fuel tank cap on the
back of the fuel filler door.

turn it until a clicking sound is
heard.
After releasing your hand, the cap will

Use unleaded gasoline. (91 Octane rating [Research Octane Number 96] or
higher)
â– Fuel tank capacity
Approximately 17.2 gal. (65 L, 14.3 Imp. gal.)
â– When the fuel filler door opener is inoperable
The lever can be used to open the fuel filler
door if the fuel filler door cannot be opened
using the inside switch because the battery is
discharged or for any other reason.
