■When replacing a fuse
Observe the following precautions.
Failing to do so may cause damage , a
nd possibly a fire or injury.
• Never use a fuse of higher amperage rati ng, or us
e any other object in place of
a fuse.
• Always use genuine Lexus fuses, or a fuse of an equal standard of quality.
Do not use copper wire or other objects, even as a temporary measure.
• Do not modify the fuse or the fuse box.

Cartridge fuses
■If there is an overload in the circuits from the battery
The fuses are designed to blow before the wiring harness is damaged.
If the headlights or other electrical components do not work and the blade
fuses are O.K., check the cartridge fuses.

replace with a genuine Lexus fuse

■When replacing fuses
Always use a genuine Lexus fuse or equivalent.
Never install an ordinary wire - even as a temporary fix.
This may cause extensive damage and possibly a fire.

Have the cause of electrical overload determined and repaired by your Lexus
dealer
