When covers and accessories are attached to portable devices
Do not charge in situations where cover an d accessories not able to handle Qi are
attached to the portable device. Depending on the type of cover and accessory, it may
not be possible to charge. When charging is not performed even with the portable
device placed on the charge area , remove the cover and accessories.■
While charging, noise enters the AM radio
Turn off the wireless charge r and confirm that the noise has decreased. If the noise
decreases, continuously pushing the power su pply switch of the wireless charger for 2
seconds, the frequency of the charger can be changed and the noise can be reduced.
Also, on that occasion, the operation indicator light will flash orange 2 times. ■
Important points of the wireless charger●
If the electronic key cannot be detected wi thin the vehicle interior, charging cannot be
done. When the door is opened and closed, charging may be temporarily suspended. ●
When charging, the wireless charging devi ce and portable device will get warmer,
however this is not a malfunction.
When a portable device gets warm while ch arging, charging may stop due to the pro-
tection function on the portable device side. In this case, when the temperature of the
portable device drops significantly, charge again. ■
Operation sounds
When the power supply is turn ed on, while searching for the portable device a sound will
be produced, however this is not a malfunction.

WARNING ■
Conditions in which the func tion may not operate correctly
In the following conditions, the wirele ss charger may not operate correctly●
The portable device is fully charged ●
There is foreign matter between th e charge area an d portable device●
The temperature of the portable device gets higher from charging ●
The charging surface of the portable device is facing up ●
The placement of the portable device is out of alignment with the charge area●
Near a TV tower, electric power plant, gas station, radio station, large display, airport
or other facility that generates strong radio wa ves or electrical noise●
When the electronic key is in contact with , or is covered by the following metallic
objects
• Cards to which aluminum foil is attached
• Cigarette boxes that ha ve aluminum foil inside
• Metallic wallets or bags
•Coins
• Hand warmers made of metal
• Media such as CDs and DVDs ●
When other wireless keys (that emit radio waves) are being used nearby
In addition, excluding the above-mentioned, when the charger does not perform nor-
mally or the operation indicator light is flashi ng continuously, it is considered that the
wireless charger is malfunctioni ng. Contact your Lexus dealer.■
To prevent failure or damage to data ●
Do not bring magnetic cards, such as credit cards, or magnetic recording media, etc.,
close to the charger while charging, otherw ise, data may disappear under the influ-
ence of magnetism. Also, do not bring pr ecision instruments such as wrist watches,
etc., close to the charger, as such objects may break. ●
Do not leave portable devices in the cab in. The temperature inside the cabin may
become high, when under the sun, and cause damage to the device.■
To prevent battery discharge
When the engine is stopped, do not use the wireless charger for a long time.

Tire types ●
Summer tires
Summer tires are high-speed performance ti res best suited to highway driving under
dry conditions. Since summer tires do not have the same traction performance as
snow tires, summer tires are inadequate for driving on snow-covered or icy roads. For
driving on snow-covered roads or icy road s, the use of snow tires is recommended.
When installing snow tires, be sure to replace all four tires.●
All season tires
All season tires are designed to provide better traction in snow and to be adequate for
driving in most winter conditions, as well as for use year round. All season tires, how-
ever, do not have adequate traction perfor mance compared with snow tires in heavy
or loose snow. Also, all season tires fall short in acceleration and handling perfor-
mance compared with summer tires in highway driving.●
Snow tires
For driving on snow-covered roads or icy roads, we recommend using snow tires. If
you need snow tires, select ti res of the same size, construction and load capacity as the
originally installed tires. Since your vehicle has radial tires as or iginal equipment, make
sure your snow tires also have radial cons truction. Do not install studded tires without
first checking local regulations for possible re striction. Snow tires should be installed
on all wheels. (  P. 388)■
Initializing the tire pressure warning system
Initialize the tire pressure warn ing system with the tire inflat ion pressure adjusted to the
specified level. ■
If the tread on snow tires wears down below 0.16 in. (4 mm)
The effectiveness of the tire s as snow tires is lost.■
If you press the tire pressure warning reset switch accidentally
If initialization is performed, adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified level and ini-
tialize the tire pressure warning system again.■
Situations in which the tire pressure warning system may not operate properly ●
In the following cases, the tire pressure warning system may not operate properly.
• If non-genuine Lexus wheels are used.
• A tire has been replaced with a tire that is not an OE (Original Equipment) tire.
• A tire has been replaced with a tire that is not of the specified size.
• Tire chains etc. are equipped.
• An auxiliary-supported run-flat tire is equipped.
• If a window tint that affects th e radio wave signals is installed.
• If there is a lot of snow or ice on the vehi cle, particularly around the wheels or wheel
housings.
• If the tire inflation pressure is extr emely higher than the specified level.
• If the spare tire is in a location subj ect to poor radio wave signal reception.
• If a large metallic object which can interfer e with signal reception is put near the
spare tire.
• If tires not equipped with the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters are used.
• If the ID code on the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters is not registered
in the tire pressure warning computer.

Maintenance and care ●
Performance may be affected in the following situations.
• Near a TV tower, electric power plant, gas station, radio station, large display, air-
port or other facility that generates st rong radio waves or electrical noise
• When carrying a portable radio, cellular phone, cordless phon e or other wireless
communication device
If tire position information is not correctl y displayed due to the radio wave conditions,
the display may be corrected by driving and changing the radio wave conditions. ●
When the vehicle is parked, the time taken for the warning to start or go off could be
extended. ●
When tire inflation pressure declines rapidly for example when a tire has burst, the
warning may not function. ■
The initialization operation ●
Make sure to carry out initialization afte r adjusting the tire inflation pressure.
Also, make sure the tires are cold before carryi ng out initialization or tire inflation pres-
sure adjustment. ●
If you have accidentally turned the engine swit ch off during initialization, it is not neces-
sary to press the reset switch again as initialization will re start automatically when the
engine switch has been turned to IG NITION ON mode for the next time.●
If you accidentally press the re set switch when initialization is not necessary, adjust the
tire inflation pressure to the specified leve l when the tires are co ld, and conduct initial-
ization again. ●
While the position of each tire is being de termined and the inflation pressures are not
being displayed on the multi-info rmation display, if the inflat ion pressure of a tire drops,
the tire pressure warning light will come on.
