pressed while the headlights are in low beam. Turn the high beam on and press the Automatic High Beam switch again.

Indicates that, since the VSC (Vehicle Stability Control)system was turned off, the pre-crash brake system oper-ation is stopped
Operation of the pre-crash brake assist is also stopped. Turn the VSC on. (P. 352)

Indicates that the PCS (Pre-Crash Safety system) is not currently functional because the grille cover or the sen-
sor is dirty Check the grille cover and the sensor and clean
them if they are dirty.

WARNING
■When using the spare tire
●Remember that the spare tire provided is specifically designed for use with your vehi- cle. Do not use your spare tire on another vehicle.
●Do not use more than one spare tires simultaneously.
●Replace the spare tire with a standard tire as soon as possible.
●Avoid sudden acceleration, abrupt steerin g, sudden braking and shifting operations
that cause sudden engine braking.
■When the spare tire is attached
The vehicle speed may not be correctly detected, and the following systems may not
operate correctly:
■Speed limit when using the spare tire
Do not drive at speeds in excess of 80 km/h (50 mph) when a spare tire is installed on the vehicle.
The spare tire is not designed for driving at high speeds. Failure to observe this precau- tion may lead to an accident cau sing death or serious injury.
■After using the tools and jack
Before driving, make sure all the tools and jack are securely in place in their storage location to reduce the possibility of personal injury during a collision or sudden brak- ing.
NOTICE
■Driving with tire chains and the spare tire
Do not fit tire chains to the spare tire. Tire chains may damage the vehicle body and adversely affect driving performance.
■When replacing the tires
When removing or fitting the wheels, tires or the tire pressure warning valve and trans- mitter, contact any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified andequipped professional as the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter may be dam-
aged if not handled correctly.

●Is the window lock switch pressed?
The power window except for the one at the driver’s seat cannot be operated
if the window lock switch is pressed. ( P. 227)
●The auto power off function will be operated if the vehicle is left in ACCES-
SORY or IGNITION ON mode (the engine is not running) for a period of
time. ( P. 250)
●The seat belt reminder light is flashing
Are the driver and the front passenger wearing the seat belts? ( P. 593)
●The parking brake indicator is on
Is the parking brake released? ( P. 261)
Depending on the situation, other types of warning buzzer may also sound.
( P. 591, 597)
●Did anyone inside the vehicle open a door or anything move inside the vehicle
during setting the alarm?
The sensor detects them and the alarm sounds. ( P. 103)
Do one of the following to deactivate or stop the alarm:
• Unlock the doors or open the trunk using the entry function or wireless
remote control.
• Start the engine.
The windows do not open or close by operating the power window
switches
The engine switch is turned off automatically
A warning buzzer sounds during driving
An alarm is activated and th e horn sounds (if equipped)
