Master warning light
The master warning light also comes on or flashes in order to indicate that a
message is currently being displaye d on the multi-information display.
Multi-information display
If any of the warning messages is show n again after the following actions have
been performed, contact your Lexus dealer.
If a warning message is displayed
If a warning is shown on the multi-info rmation display, stay calm and perform
the following actions:

→ Slow the vehicle by applying the brakes.
Indicates that the engine was stopped with the shift lever
not in P

→ Shift the shift lever to P.
Indicates that the engine was stopped while driving

→ Stop the vehicle in a safe place such as the shoulder
of a road.

Indicates that your vehicle is nearing the vehicle ahead
(in vehicle-to-vehicle distance mode)

Alerts the driver that the vehicle has deviated from the
lane (while the LDA [Lane Departure Alert] system is
operating)The lane line on the side the vehicle has deviated from
flashes in yellow.
The warning buzzer sounds continuously.
→ Check around the vehicle and back to inside of the
lane lines.
Indicates that:
• The brake fluid level is low; or
• The brake system is malfunctioning
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place and
contact your Lexus dealer. Continuing to drive the
vehicle may be dangerous.
Indicates that one or more of the doors is not fully closed The system also indicates which doors are not fully
closed.
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5 km/h),
flashes and a buzzer sounds to indicate
that the door(s) are not yet fully closed.
→ Make sure that both side doors are closed.
Indicates that the hood is not fully closed
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5 km/h),
flashes and a buzzer sounds to indicate
that the hood is not yet fully closed.
→ Close the hood.
Indicates that the trunk is not fully closed
If the vehicle reaches a speed of 3 mph (5 km/h),
flashes and a buzzer sounds to indicate
that the trunk is not yet fully closed.
→ Close the trunk.

→ Release the parking brake.
Indicates that the shift lever was used to attempt to shift
to the first gear position in M mode on a slippery road
surface
The gear position will not shift from the second gear.
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Drive the vehicle in the second or a higher gear
position.

• The SRS airbag system;
• The front passenger occupa nt classification system; or

Indicates that the dynamic radar cruise control system is
unable to judge vehicle-to-vehicle distanceA buzzer also sounds.
→ Turn off snow mode.
If the windshield wipers are on, turn them off or set
them to a mode other than AUTO or high speed
wiper operation.
(If equipped)
Indicates that the LDA (Lane Departure Alert) system is
suspended (The camera sensor temperature is higher
than the operation temperature range)
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Restart the LDA after driving for a while.
(If equipped)
Indicates that a Blind Spot Monitor sensor or the sur-
rounding area on the rear bumper is dirty or covered
with snow, ice, etc. or th at a sensor is misaligned
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Clean off the dirt, snow, ice, etc. and drive the vehi-
cle with the operation conditions of the BSM func-
tion ( →P. 319) satisfied for approximately 10
minutes. If the warning me ssage does not disappear,
the sensor may be misaligned. Have the vehicle
inspected by your Lexus dealer.
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The cruise control system; or
• The dynamic radar cruise co ntrol system (if equipped)
Press the “ON/OFF” button once to deactivate the
system, and then press the button again to reactivate
the system.
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
(If equipped)
Indicates a malfunction in the LDA (Lane Departure
Alert) system
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.

Ratio Steering) system
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Have the vehicle inspected by your Lexus dealer.
RC F only
Indicates that the active re ar wing switch was pressed
when the active rear wing was disabled
→ Enable the active rear wing ( →P. 127) then press
the active rear wing switch.
(If equipped)
Indicates that the LDA (Lan e Departure Alert) system
cannot be used because the vehicle speed is lower than
approximately 32 mph (50 km/h)
→ Drive the vehicle at 32 mph (50 km/h) or higher.
Indicates that the engine was stopped while driving
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Operate the steering wheel with more force than
usual.
Indicates that the engine switch is turned off or turned to
ACCESSORY mode and the driver’s door is opened
while the lights are turned on
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Turn the lights off.
