■If the tire pressure warning light frequently comes on after blinking for 1 minute
If the tire pressure warning light frequently comes on after blinking for 1 minute when the power switch is turned to ON mode, have it checked by any authorized Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly qua lified and equipped professional.
■Warning buzzer
In some cases, the buzzer may not be heard due to being in a noisy location or audio
sound.
WARNING
■If both the ABS and the brake system warning lights remain on
Stop your vehicle in a safe place immediately and contact any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional. The vehicle will
become extremely unstable during braking, and the ABS system may fail, which could cause an accident resulting in death or serious injury.
■When the electric power steering system warning light comes on
The steering wheel may become extremely heavy. If the steering wheel becomes heavier than us ual when operating, hold firmly and oper- ate using more force than usual.
■If the tire pressure warning light comes on
Be sure to observe the following precautions. Failure to do so could cause a loss of vehicle control and result in death or serious injury.
●Stop your vehicle in a safe place as soon as possible. Adjust the tire inflation pressureimmediately.
●If the tire pressure warning light comes on even after tire inflation pressure adjust-
ment, it is probable that you have a flat tire. Check the tires. If a tire is flat, repair the flat tire by using emergency tire puncture repair kit.
●Avoid abrupt maneuvering and braking. If th e vehicle tires deteriorate, you could lose
control of the steering wheel or the brakes.
■If a blowout or sudden air leakage should occur
The tire pressure warning system may not activate immediately.
NOTICE
■To ensure the tire pressure warning system operates properly
Do not install tires with different specifications or makers, as the tire pressure warning system may not operate properly.

Indicates that the dynamic radar cruise control system is
unable to judge vehicle-to-vehicle distance A buzzer also sounds. Turn off snow mode.
If the windshield wipers are on, turn them off or set them to a mode other than AUTO or high speedwiper operation.

Indicates that the LDA (Lane Departure Alert) system issuspended (The camera sensor temperature is higher
than the operation temperature range) A buzzer also sounds. Restart the LDA after driving for a while.

Indicates that a Blind Spot Monitor sensor or the sur- rounding area on the rear bumper is dirty or covered
with snow, ice, etc. or that a sensor is misaligned A buzzer also sounds. Clean off the dirt, snow, ice, etc. and drive the vehi-
cle with the operation conditions of the BSM func- tion ( P. 327) satisfied for approximately 10
minutes. If the warning message does not disappear, the sensor may be misaligned. Have the vehicleinspected by any authorized Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
Indicates a malfunction in:• The cruise control system; or
• The dynamic radar cruise control system (if equipped) Press the “ON/OFF” button once to deactivate thesystem, and then press the button again to reactivate
the system. A buzzer also sounds. Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Lexus
dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.

Indicates a malfunction in the tire pressure warning sys- tem
 Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the power switch off then on again.If the tire pressure warning indicator flashes for 1
minute then illuminates, th ere is a malfunction in the system. Have the vehicle inspected by any autho-rized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qual-
ified and equipped professional.
Indicates that the tire position information cannot be rec- ognized Drive for a short while and check if the display
updates. If the radio wave conditions improve, the displaymay return to normal. If the tire pressure is still not
displayed after driving for several minutes, stop the vehicle in a safe place, turn the power switch offthen on again, and start driving.
If the tire pressure is still not displayed even after repeating this process several times, have the vehi-cle inspected by any authorized Lexus dealer or
repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
Maintenance of the hybrid battery (traction battery)
cooling component is required The filter may be clogged, the air intake vent may beblocked or there may be a gap in the duct
 Have maintenance performed on the hybrid battery (traction battery) cooling component by any autho-rized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qual-
ified and equipped professional.
Indicates that the washer fluid level is low  Add washer fluid.

During an hybrid system starting
procedure in the event that the elec- tronic key was not functioning prop-erly ( P. 580), the power switch
was touched with the electronic key.  Press the power switch within 10 seconds of the buzzer sounding.


• With the power switch off, the doors were unlocked and then the
driver’s door was opened and closed• The power switch was turned to
ACCESSORY mode without starting the hybrid system• The shift lever was shifted to P or
N from another position with the power switch in ON mode. Press the power switch while

●Stop the vehicle in a safe place on a hard, flat surface.
●Set the parking brake.
●Shift the shift lever to P.
●Stop the hybrid system.
●Turn on the emergency flashers. (P. 528)
●Check the degree of the tire damage.
A tire should only be repaired with
the emergency tire puncture repair
kit if the damage is caused by a nail
or screw passing through the tire
tread.
• Do not remove the nail or screw
from the tire. Removing the
object may widen the opening
and disenable emergency repair
with the kit.
• To avoid sealant leakage, move the vehicle until the area of the puncture, if
known, is positioned at the top of the tire.
■A flat tire that cannot be repaired with the emergency tire puncture repair kit
In the following cases, the tire cannot be repaired with the emergency tire puncture
repair kit. Contact any authorized Lexus dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and equipped professional.
●When the tire is damaged due to driving without sufficient air pressure
●When the tire lost air pressure due to a crack or damage in the tire sidewall
●When the tire is visibly separated from the wheel
●When the cut or damage to the tread is 4 mm (0.16 in.) long or more
●When the wheel is damaged
●When 2 or more sharp objects, such as nails or screws, have passed through the tread on a single tire
●When there is more than one hole or cut in the damaged tire
●When the sealant has expired
Before repairing the vehicle
