Check Every Month
Engine oil level.
Function of all interior and exterior lights.
Tires (including spare) for wear and proper pressure.
Windshield washer fluid level.
Fuel and water separator. Drain if necessary (or if indicated by the information display).
Holes and slots in the tail pipe to make sure they are functional and clear of debris.
Check Every Six Months
Battery connections. Clean if necessary.
Body and door drain holes for obstructions. Clean if necessary.
Cooling system fluid level and coolant strength.
Door weatherstrips for wear. Lubricate if necessary.
Hinges, latches and outside locks for proper operation. Lubricate if necessary.
Parking brake for proper operation.

1 Perform these maintenance items within 3,000 mi (4,800 km) of the last engine oil and filter change. Do not exceed the designated distance

There are several exceptions to the NormalSchedule:
Rear Axle and PTU Maintenance
The Power Transfer Unit (PTU) and rear axle(AWD only) in your vehicle does not requireany normal scheduled maintenance unlessthe unit shows signs of leakage. Contact anauthorized dealer for service.
California Fuel Filter Replacement
If you register your vehicle in California, theCalifornia Air Resources Board hasdetermined that the failure to perform thismaintenance item does not nullify theemission warranty or limit recall liabilitybefore the completion of your vehicle'suseful life. Ford Motor Company, however,urges you to have all recommendedmaintenance services performed at thespecified intervals and to record all vehicleservice.
Hot Climate Oil Change Intervals
Vehicles operating in the Middle East, NorthAfrica, Sub-Saharan Africa or locations withsimilar climates using an American PetroleumInstitute (API) Certified for Gasoline Engines(Certification mark) oil of SM or SN quality,the normal oil change interval is 3000 miles(5000 kilometers).
If the available API SM or SN oils are notavailable, then the oil change interval is 1800miles (3000 kilometers).

Do not place objects or mountequipment on or near the airbag cover,on the side of the seatbacks (of the frontseats), or in front seat areas that may comeinto contact with a deploying airbag. Failureto follow these instructions may increase therisk of personal injury in the event of a crash.
WARNINGS
Do not fasten antenna cables tooriginal vehicle wiring, fuel pipes andbrake pipes.
Keep antenna and power cables atleast 4 in (10 cm) from any electronicmodules and airbags.

It is yourresponsibility to make sure that anyequipment an authorized dealer installs onyour vehicle complies with applicable locallegislation and other requirements.
