If you use oil and fluids that do not meet thedefined specification and viscosity grade, this may lead to:
•Component damage which is notcovered by the vehicle warranty.
•Longer engine cranking periods.
•Increased emission levels.
•Reduced engine performance.
•Reduced fuel economy.
•Degraded brake performance.
We recommend Motorcraft® motor oil foryour vehicle. If Motorcraft® oil is notavailable, use motor oils of therecommended viscosity grade that meet APISN requirements and display the APICertification Mark for gasoline engines. Donot use oil labeled with API SN servicecategory unless the label also displays theAPI certification mark.

An oil that displays this symbol conforms tocurrent engine, emission system and fueleconomy performance standards of ILSAC.
Do not use supplemental engine oil additivesbecause they are unnecessary and couldlead to engine damage that may not becovered by your vehicle warranty.
Note:Ford recommends using DOT 4 LowViscosity (LV) High Performance Brake Fluidor equivalent meeting WSS-M6C65-A2. Useof any fluid other than the recommendedfluid may cause degraded brakeperformance and not meet the Fordperformance standards. Keep brake fluidclean and dry. Contamination with dirt, water, petroleum products or other materialsmay result in brake system damage andpossible failure.
Note: Automatic transmissions that requireMERCON® LV transmission fluid should onlyuse MERCON® LV transmission fluid. Theuse of any other fluid may causetransmission damage.

Note: This feature only functionswhen you switch the engine on.
Touch this icon to switch theheated steering wheel on and off.It takes about 5 minutes to warmthe steering wheel to 74°F (23.3°C)in temperatures as low as -4°F(-20°C). The wheel maintains anapproximate temperature of 90°F(32.2°C) and operatesindependently from the heatedseats and other climate-controlfunctions. The heating element isin between the leather coveringand foam core to help providemaximum heat without adverselyaffecting the feel of the steeringwheel.
Note: For steering wheels withwood trim, the heating feature willnot heat the wheel between the 10and 2 o'clock positions.
Defrost: A pop up appears on thescreen to display the defrostoptions.
C
MAX Defrost: Touch the button tomaximize defrosting. Air flowsthrough the windshield vents, thefan automatically adjusts to thehighest speed and the driver andpassenger temperatures are set toHI. You can use this setting todefog or clear a thin covering ofice from the windshield. Theheated rear window alsoautomatically turns on when youselect MAX Defrost.
Defrost: Distributes air through thewindshield defroster vents anddemister vents.
Heated rear window: Turns theheated rear window on and off.See Heated Rear Window (page144).
AUTO: Touch the button to switchon automatic operation. Select thedesired temperature using thetemperature control. The systemadjusts fan speed, air distribution, air conditioning operation, andselects outside air or recirculatedair to heat or cool the vehicle inorder to maintain the desiredtemperature.

Shows the direction of power flow between the wheels and the electric motor.Motor-to-Wheel FlowB
Represents the hybrid electric motor. The higher the motor power is, the larger thecircle around this node. Any time the vehicle is ready to be driven, the motor nodeilluminates.
Electric MotorC
Shows the direction of power flow between the high-voltage battery and the electricmotor. Flow toward the motor indicates the battery is providing power to acceleratethe vehicle (discharging the battery). Includes all power usage from the low voltage accessories such as the climate controlfan, headlights and heated seats. The higher the power usage is from theseaccessories, the larger the circle around the node. This node illuminates anytime thevehicle is on since there is always some low level power in use.
2OtherE
Includes the power usage from the high-voltage climate control components suchas the electric A/C compressor. The higher the power usage is from these compon-ents, the larger the circle around this node.
2,3ClimateF
Represents your high-voltage battery. A circle illuminates around the node when thehigh-voltage battery is receiving power from regenerative braking or engine charging. The higher the power going into the high-voltage battery, the larger the circle aroundthis node.
BatteryG
Represents the fuel tank in the vehicle.FuelH
Shows flow from the fuel tank to the engine when the engine is on and using fuel(there are some cases where the engine is on, but not using any fuel). When theengine is on, but not using fuel, the engine node is active, but the fuel flow path isoff. An example of this is when your foot is off the accelerator pedal and the vehicleis traveling at a high speed.
