Meter Selector
The odometer is constantly displayed on
the screen when the
ignition is switched
ON, and the TRIP A or TRIP B screen can
be displayed by operating the INFO
switch.

The odometer records the total distance
the vehicle has been driven.

The driving distance for a specified
interval is indicated
. Two types (TRIP A,
TRIP B) of interva l distance and the
average fuel economy for each can be
measured.
For instance, trip meter A can record the
distance from the point of origin, and trip
meter B can record the distance from
where the fuel tank is filled.
When trip meter A is selected, TRIP A
will be displayed. Wh en trip meter B is
selected, TRIP B will be displayed.
The trip meter and average fuel economy
can be reset by pressi ng the INFO switch
for 1.5 seconds or more while in each
mode.
NOTE
Only the trip meters record tenths of
kilometers (miles).
The trip record will be erased when:
The power supply is interrupted
(blown fuse or the battery is
disconnected).
The vehicle is driven over 9999.9 km
(mile).

The display mode can be changed from
odometer to trip meter A to trip meter B
and then back to odometer by pressing the
selector while one of them is displayed.
The selected mode will be displayed.

The odometer records the total distance
the vehicle has been driven.
Trip meter
The trip meter can record the total distance
of two trips. One is re
corded in trip meter
A, and the other is recorded in trip meter
B.
For instance, trip me ter A can record the
distance from the point of origin, and trip
meter B can record the distance from
where the fuel tank is filled.
When trip meter A is selected, pressing the
selector again within 1 second will change
to trip meter B mode.
When trip meter A is selected, TRIP A
will be displayed. When trip meter B is
selected, TRIP B will be displayed.
The trip meter records the total distance
the vehicle is driven until the meter is
again reset. Return it to “0.0” by
depressing and holding the selector for 1
second or more. Use this meter to measure
trip distances and to compute fuel
consumption.
NOTE
If TRIP A is reset using the trip meter
when the function which synchronizes
(resets) the fuel economy monitor and
the trip meter (TRIP A) is on, the fuel
economy data resets in conjunction with
TRIP A.

Mazda Connect Owner's Manual.

7. California Civil Code Section 1793.2 (d) requires that, if Mazda or its representative is
unable to repair a new motor vehi cle to conform to the vehicle's applicable express
warranty after a reasonable number of attempts, Mazda may be re quired to replace or
repurchase the vehicle. California Civil Code Section 1793.22 ( b) creates a presumption
that Mazda has had a reasonable number of attempts to conform t he vehicle to its
applicable express warranties if, within 18 months from deliver y to the buyer or 18,000
miles on the vehicle's odometer, whichever occurs first, one or more of the following
occurs:
The same nonconformity [a failur e to conform to the written warranty that
substantially impairs the use, value or safety of the vehicle] results in a condition that
is likely to cause death or serious bodily injury if the vehicl e is driven AND the
nonconformity has been subject to repair two or more times by M azda or its agents
AND the buyer or lessee has directly notified Mazda of the need fo r the repair of the
nonconformity; OR
The same nonconformity has been subject to repair 4 or more tim es by Mazda or its
agents AND the buyer has notified Mazda of the need for the repair of the
nonconformity; OR
The vehicle is out of service by reason of repair of nonconform ities by Mazda or its
agents for a cumulative total of more than 30 calendar days aft er delivery of the
vehicle to the buyer.

8. The following remedies may be sought in BBB AUTO LINE: repair s, reimbursement for
money paid to repair a vehicle or other expenses incurred as re sult of a vehicle
nonconformity, repurch ase or replacement of your vehicle, and compensation for
damages and remedies available under Mazda's written warranty o r applicable law.

Your complete and permanent satisfaction is of primary concern
to Mazda. All Authorized
Mazda Dealers have both the know ledge and tools to keep your Mazda in top condition. In
our experience, any questions, problems, or complaints regardin g the operation of your
Mazda or any other general service transactions are most effect ively resolved by your
dealer. If the cause of your dissatisfaction cannot adequately be addressed by normal
dealership procedures, we recommend that you take the following steps:

Discuss the matter with
a member of dealership management. If t he Service Manager has
already reviewed your concerns, contact the owner of the dealership or its General Manager.
▼ STEP 2: Contact the Mazda Regional Office
If you feel that you still require assistance, ask the dealer S
ervice Manager to arrange for
you to meet the local Mazda Service Representative. If more exp edient, contact Mazda
Canada Inc. Regional Office nearest you for such arrangements. Regional Office address
and phone numbers are shown (page 8-10).

6. Your dealer's name and location
7. The nature of your problem and/or cause of dissatisfaction
The Department, in cooperation w ith the local Mazda Service Representative, will review
the case to determine if everything possible has been done to e nsure your satisfaction.
Please recognize that the resolu tion of service problems in mos t cases requires the use of
