Ac cording toEuropean standard EN 16942, the
compatibility indications for fuel on theve hicle
can be found on the information label on the fuel
/ller 0ap or on the fuel dispenser or pump nozzle
suitable foryo ur vehicle thro ughout Europe.
If th eav ailable fuel is not su1ciently low in sul-
phur, it may produce unpleasant odours.
The recommended octane number can be found
on the information label on the fuel /ller 0ap

or maximum engine output:

super unleaded petrol of at least 98 RON.Alterna-
tivel y,yo u can also refuel using premium-g rade
unleaded petrol of at least 95 RON.
In exceptional cases, if there commended fuel is
not available, you may also use regular unleaded
petrol with an octane number of at least 91 RON.
This may reduce engine output and increase fuel
consum ption.

ded byMercedes-Benz tothe fuel. Mercedes-Benz
recommends that you use brand-
name fuels with additives.
In some countries, the fuel available may not ha ve
su1cient additives. Deposits could build up in the
fuel injection system as a result. In this case, in
consultation with a Mercedes-Benz service
centre, mix the fuel with the cleaning additive rec-
