Switching the automatic mirror fold-
ing function on/off
When the
Automatic Mirror Foldingfunc-
tion isactivated, the outside mirrors fold in auto-
matically as soon as you lock the vehicle from
the outside. The outside mirrors fold out auto-
matically again as soon as you unlock the veh i-
cle.
XCall up Vehicle Settings(Ypage 43).
XTo select Automatic Mirror Folding: turn
and press the controller.
The function switches on or off, depending on
the previous setting.

Switching locator lighting on/off
If you switch on the Locator Lightingfunc-
tion, the exterior lighting is switched on for a
short time when it is dark. The light switch must
be set to Ã; see the vehicle Operator's Man-
ual.
The exterior lighting remains on for 40 seconds
after the vehicle is unlocked. When you start the
engine, the locator lighting is switched off and
the automatic driving lights are activated.

Activating/deactivating the auto-
matic door locking mechanism
The vehicle islocked automatically when the
ignition is switched on and the vehicle istravel-
ing faster than walking pace.

Setting the switch-off delay time
Interior lighting switch-off delay time
The interior lighting isactivated for the duration
of the switch-off delay time when the SmartKey
is removed from the ignition lock.

Exterior lighting switch-off delay time
Ifyou switch on the Exterior LightingDelayed Switch-offfunction, the exterior
lighting is switched on for a short time after the
engine is switched off. The light switch must be
set to Ã; see the veh icleOperator's Manual.
The exterior lighting remains on for 60 seconds
after the engine is switched off. Ifyou close all
the doors and the tailgate, the exterior lighting
swit ches off after the set time.

360° camera
General notes
The 360° camera covers the immediate sur-
roundings of the vehicle and assists you, for
instance when parking or at exits with reduced
visibility.
The 360° camera is only an aid. It is not a
replacement for your attention to your imm edi-
ate surroundings. You are always responsible
for safe maneuvering and parking. Make sure
that no persons or animals are inthe maneu-
vering range.

Displaying the 360° camera image
The 360° camera image can be displayed if:

This setting is made in the bottom bar of the
clim ate control menu.
XCall up the climate control menu (Ypage 48).
XSlide 6the controller repeatedly until the
bottom bar is activated.
XTo select OSync: turn and press the con-
troller.
XSwit ch the synchronization function on Oor
off ª.

DYNAMIC SELECT
General notes
You can use DYNAMIC SELECTto configure the
foll owin g settings for the Individual drive pro-
gram:

RECO start/stop function
In addition, current vehicle and engine data is
visualized via the two further Vehicle
Dataand
Engine Datamenus.
iIn a few countries, the ECO start/stop func-
tion isdeactivated at the factory due to the
availab lefuel grade. In this case, the ECO
start /stop function is not availab leregardless
of the display in the multimedia system dis-
play.
The ECO Assist setting is availab leon
PLUG‑ IN HYBRID vehicles.
In Mercedes-AMG vehicles, you can use
DYNAMIC

drive programs.
Daytime or night-time view is shown depending
on the automatic light sensor.
Displaying engine data

The Individual

The following current data is displayed:
REngine output
REngine torque

ROn-board electrical system voltage
iThe values for engine output and engine tor-
que may deviate from the nominal values.
Items that can influence this are, for example:
REngine speed
RSea level
RFuel grade
ROutside temperature
In Mercedes-AMG vehicles you will see current
data on the transmission oil temperature
instead of the on-board electrical system volt-
age.

Recording the route
General notes
Routes are recorded using the SD card.
Requirements: the SD card has the FAT data
system format (e.g. FAT32).
When recording the route, bear in mind the fol-
lowing:
RIf the SD card is inserted, it must not be
removed during recording.
RIf route recording is started manually, it must
be finished manually before the multimedia
system is switched off (e. g. when the engine
is switched off).
RThe multimedia system minimizes the num-
ber of route points recorded. Therefore when
the recorded route is subsequently com-
menced, it may differ from the route that was
originally recorded.
Starting/finishing route recording
XInsert the SD memory card (Ypage 141).
XTo switch to navigation mode: press the
Ø button.
XIf no route guidance is active, select.
iIf route guidance is active, first slide 6the
controller and show the menu.
XSelect Memory Card.
XSelectStart Route Recording.
The route is recorded and REC appears at the
bottom edge of the screen.
XTo stop recording, select End RouteRecordingfrom the menu.
The route is stored under Personal Routes.
Displaying/editing the recorded route
XInsert the SD memory card (Ypage 141).
XTo switch to navigation mode: press the
Ø button.
XIf no route guidance is active, select.
iIf route guidance is active, first slide 6the
controller and show the menu.
XSelect Memory Card.
XSelectPersonal Routes.
Previously recorded routes are displayed.
XTo select a route, turn and press the control-
ler.
The map appears with a menu. The recorded
route is shown on the map in blue.

Route guidance
General notes
The multimedia system calculates the route to
the destination without taking the following into
account, for example:
Rtraffic lights
Rstop and yield signs
Rparking or stopping restrictions
Rroad narrowing
Rtemporary traffic rules and regulations
The navigation system can give differing driving
recommendations if the actual street/traffic sit-
uation does not correspond with the digital
map's data. For example, if the road layout or
the direction of a one-way street has been
changed.
For this reason, you must always observe road
and traffic rules and regulations during your
journey. Road and traffic rules and regulations
always have priority over system driving recom-
mendations.
Route guidance begins once a route has been
calculated (
Ypage 58).
The multimedia system guides you to your des-
tination by means of navigation announcements
in the form of audible navigation announce-
ments and route guidance displays.
The route guidance displays can be seen if nav-
igation mode is switched on.
If you do not follow the navigation announce-
ments or if you leave the calculated route, the

Starting route guidance to a POI
XTo select a POI:turn the controller and press
to confirm.
The POI details are displayed.
You can perform the following functions:
RStore in the address book (Ypage 80)
RView on the map (Ypage 84)
RCall if a phone is connected and a phone
number is available (Ypage 97).
RSelect for route guidance and calculate a
route to it (Ypage 58).
Using the traffic jam function
Highway information enables the use of the traf-
fic jam function. The remaining route on the
highway in this case is blocked in the direction of
travel from the selected exit.
XTo select Detour: turn and press the control-
ler.
The traffic jam function appears

Ypage 75).
Destination reached
Once the destination is reached, you will see the
checkered flag. Route guidance is finished.
Navigation announcements
Repeating navigation announcements
If you missed the current navigation announce-
ment, you can call it up again.
XTo switch to navigation mode: press the
Ø button.
XTo show the menu: slide6the controller.
XTo select: press the controller.
XTo select: press the controller.
The navigation announcement is repeated.
iIf the Repeat Spoken Driving Recom‐mendationsfunction has previously been
added as a favorite, you can alternatively
select the function using the favorites button
(
Ypage 32).
Setting the volume manually
XSet the volume using the thumbwheel to the
right of the controller during the navigation
announcement.
iWhen you start the engine, the volume is set
to the lowest setting.
