Never exceed the maximum roof load and
adjust yourd riving style.
! Mercedes-Benz recommends that you
only use roof carriers that have been tested
and approved for Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
This help stoprevent damage to the
vehicle.
Position the loadont he roof carrierinsuch

Ensure that, depending on the vehicle's
equipment, you can raise the sliding
sunroof fully and open the trunk lid fully
when the roof carrier is installed.
! To avoid damaging or scratching the
covers, do not use metallic or hard objects
to open them.
The maximum roof load is 220 lbs(100 kg).
An incorrectly secured roof carrier or roof
load may become detached from the vehicle.
You must therefore ensure that you observe
the roof carrier manufacturer's installation
instructions.

X To open: slide cover 0010to its foremost
position.
You can remove the cup holder's rubber mat
for cleaning. Cleanw ith clear,lukewarm
water only.
AMG vehicles: you can remove the rubber
mat of the cup holder in the direction of the 284

To open: slide cover 001Aforwards.
X To remove th einsert: slide catch 0010
inwards in th edirectio nofthe arrow.
X Remove cup holder insert 0024upwards.
X To re-install the insert: place the insert in
the stowage space.
X Slide catch 0010outwards in the direction of
the arrow until it engages.
You can remove the insert and the rubber mat
of the cup holder to clean them. Cleant hem
with clean, lukewarm water only.
Cup holder in the rear seat armrest !
Do not sit on or support your body weight
on the rear seat armrest when it is folded
down, as you could otherwise damage it.
! Close the cup holder before folding the
rear seat armrest up. Otherwise, the cup
holder could be damaged. X
Fold down the rear seat armrest.
X To open: raise the rear seat armrest cover.
X Press release catch 001A.
Cup holder 0010folds out forwards.
X Swing the rear seat armrest cover back
down, if necessary.
X To close: raise the rear seat armrest cover.
Swing cup holder 0010back until it engages. Bottle holder

WARNING
If objectsint he passenger compartmenta re
stowed incorrectly, they can slide or be
thrown around and hit vehicle occupants.
There is arisk of injury, particularly in the
event of sudden braking or asudden change
in direction.
R Always stow objectssot hat they cannot be
thrown around in such situations.
R Always make sure that objectsdon ot
protrude from stowage spaces, parcel nets
or stowage nets.
R Close the lockable stowage spaces while
driving.
R Always stow and secure heavy, hard,
pointed, sharp-edged, fragile or bulky
