Opening and closing the trunk sepa rator
The trunk separator co vers luggage or loads in
th e trunk.
Depending on the equipment, theve hicle may be
equipped with a manual or automatic trunk sep‐
arator.
The soft top can be opened only when the man‐
ual trunk separator is closed.
In vehicles with an automatic trunk separator,
th is automatically closes when the soft top is
opened.

AIR CAP.This can arise when you are driving
behind ano ther vehicle or if there is a crosswind,
fo rex ample.
AI RCA P consists of thefo llowing components:

RCAP is activated, the wind deflector
and the draft stop extend simultaneously.
AIR CAP can be activated or deactivated at

become trapped in the moving mechanism.

The folding draft stop is fitted overth ere ar seats
to protect against wind when driving with the
soft top open. Only the front seats can be occu‐
pied when thefo lding draft stop is ins talled. The bag con
taining thefo lding draft stop is
attached totheth ro ugh-loading feature behind
th ere ar seats. If youwa nttouse theth ro ugh-
loadin gfe ature, loosen the bag's lashing stra ps
and stow them in the trunk. Fasten the lashing
st ra ps tothe luggage hook.
