Fu nction of the communication module
On vehicles with a built-in communication mod‐
ule, the Internet connection is es tablished via an
integrated SIM card. To

R The vehicle is equipped with a permanently
ins talled communication module.
R Mercedes me connect is active and ready for
operation.
R Mercedes me connect is activated for Inter‐
net access.
R Country dependent: data volume via
Mercedes me connect is available.
If th e data volume limit is reached, theav ailabil‐
ity of Mercedes me connect services is limited.
The data volume must be pur chased via
Mercedes me connect.
