measures independently of each other:
R Tightening the seat belts on the driver's seat
and front passenger seat.
R Activating there ar hazard warning lights at a
higher 0ashing frequency.
R Increasing brake pressure when theve hicle is
stationar y.This brake application is cancelled
automatically when theve hicle pulls away.
If an accident did not occur, the pre-em ptive
measures that we re ta ken are reve rsed.

Selecting a user pro/le may trigger an adjust-
ment of the driver's seat tothe position sa ved
under the user pro/le. You or other vehicle
occupants could be injured in the process. #
Make sure that when the position of the
driver's seat is being adjus ted via the
multimedia system, no people or body
parts are in the seat's range of mo ve-
ment.
If th ere is a risk of someone becoming trap-
ped, stop the adjustment process immedi-
atel y: #

driver's door.

th e easy entry and exitfeature is active, the
stee ring wheel will mo veupwards and the driver's
seat will mo veback in thefo llowing situations:
R You switch o. theve hicle when the driver's
door is open.
R You open the driver's door when theve hicle is
switched o..
% The steering wheel will then mo veupwards
only if it is not already as high as it will go.
The driver's seat will then mo vebackwards
only if it is not already at there ar of the seat
adjustment range. The steering wheel and
the driver's seat will mo ve
back tothe last drive position in thefo llowing
cases:
R You switch the po wer supply or theve hicle on
when the driver's door is closed
R You close the driver's door when theve hicle is
switched on.
The last drive position will be sa ved when:
