If antifreeze/corrosio ninhibitor is presen tin

The antifreeze/corrosio ninhibitor concentra-
tio nint hecoolin gsystem should:
R be at least 50%. This will protect th ecooling
system against freezing down to around
-3 7†.
R no te xcee d5 5% (antifreez eprotection
down to -4 5†)otherwise heat will no tbe
dissipated as effectively.
If th evehicle has lost coolant, to pitupwith
equal amounts of wate rand antifreeze/cor-
rosion inhibitor. Mercedes-Ben zrecom-
mends that you only use an antifreeze/cor-
rosion inhibitor whic hhas been approved by
Mercedes-Benz.
