Ac tive Parking Assist is an electronic parking
assistance system, which uses ultrasound with
th e assistance of there ve rsing camera and 360°
Camera. When you are driving forw ards up to
appr oximately 35 km/h, the system automatically
measures parking spaces on bo thsides of the
ve hicle.

vehicle and the trailer may be damaged
during manoeuvring due toove rhanging loads
at the front of the trailer or dr awbar ins talla-
tions. #
Pay attention toove rhanging loads or
dr aw bar ins tallations while manoeuvring. Tr
ailer Manoeuv ring Assist assists you when
re ve rsing with a trailer. Using there ve rsing cam-
era, it monitors the articulation angle between the
ve hicle and trailer and adjusts it toa speci/ed
va lue. Trailer Manoeuv ring Assist also limits your
speed.
Tr ailer Manoeuv ring Assist is only an aid. It is not
a substitute foryo ur attention tothe sur round-
ings. The responsibility for safe manoeuvring and
parking remains with you. Make sure that there
are no persons, animals or objects in the manoeu- vring area while manoeuvring and parking in/exit-
ing parking spaces.
Yo u can either enter the articulation angle value
directly via the multimedia system or use a
straightening manoeuvre. When car rying out a
straightening manoeuvre, the system calculates
th e articulation angle automatically and straight-
ens theve hicle/trailer combination tothe trailer's
cur rent direction.

speed of 100 km/h forre asons conce rning the
operating permit. This also applies in countries in
which the permissible maximum speed for car/

Assistant, selected functions of the multimedia
system can be operated contact-free. The MBUX
Interior Assistant can di.erentiate between driver
and front passenger interactions and de tects spe-
ci/c hand positions (poses). MBUX multimedia system
