mobile phone is connected totheve hicle's
ex terior aerial via thech arging module. R
The charging function and wireless connection
of the mobile phone totheve hicle's exterior
aerial are only available if theve hicle is
switched on.
R Small mobile phones may not be able tobe
ch arge d in every position of the mobile phone
st ow age compartment.
R Largemobile phones which do not rest 0at in
th e mobile phone st owage compartment may
not be able tobe charge d or connected with
th eve hicle's exterior aerial.
R The mobile phone may heat up during the
ch arging process. This depends on the appli-
cations (apps) cur rently running.
The mobile phone can be cooled in the mobile
phone st owage compartment when the air
conditioning system is switched on. The cool-
ing output in the mobile phone st owage com-
partment is highest when the controller in the
glo vebox is closed.

tion with theve hicle's exterior aerial, remo ve

sary toset the headlamps tosymmetrical low
beam (/ page 153).
Once the headlamps ha vebeen con verted:
R Oncoming tra1c will not be dazzled.
R The edge of thero ad will not be illuminated as
fa r or as high.
R The "mo torw ay mode" and "enhanced fog
light" functions will not be available.
The headlamps must be reset toasymmetrical low

The exterior lighting (e xcept standing and parking
lights) will switch o. automatically when the driv-
er's door is opened.

lights, low beam and daytime running lights are
switched on automatically depending on the light
conditions. &

When the light switch is set toà ,the
dipped beam may not be switched on auto-
matically if there is fog, snow or other causes
of poor visibility such as spr ay. #
In such cases, turn the light switch to

Assist may failto recognise other road users
with their own lighting, or may recognise them

In these, or in similar situations, the automatic
high beam will not be deactivated or will be activated despite
the presence of other road

Ad aptive Highbeam Assist is only an aid. You are
re sponsible for adjusting theve hicle's lighting to
th e pr evailing light, visibility and tra1c conditions. Ad
aptive Highbeam Assist automatically switches
between thefo llowing types of light:
R Low beam
R High beam
At speeds greater than 30 km/h:
R If no other road users are de tected, the high

matic anti-dazzle mir ror breaks. The electrolyte is hazardous

ses ir rita tion. It must not come into contact
with your skin, eyes, respiratory or gans or
clo thing or be swallo wed. #
Ifyo u come into contact with electrolyte,
obser vethefo llowing:
R Immediate lyrinse the electrolyte
from your skin with water and seek
medical attention.
R If electrolyte comes into contact with
your eyes, immediately rinse them
th oroughly with clean water and seek
medical attention.
R Ifth e electrolyte is swallo wed, imme-
diately rinse your mouth out thor-
oughl y.Do not induce vomiting. Seek

which has been contaminated with
electrolyte.
R If an allergic reaction occurs, seek
medical attention immediatel y. The inside
rearview mir ror and the outside mir ror
on the driver's side will automatically go into anti-
dazzle mode if light from a headlamp hits the sen-
sor on the inside rearview mir ror.
