R The high-voltage battery is not charge d su1-

Yo u can receive a message on your smartphone
when the state of charge ofthe star ter battery is
lo w. You can then start theve hicle with the smart-
phone tocharge the batter y.The vehicle is auto-
matically switched o. aTer ten minutes.

0ap 1cannot be opened. #

Tocharge at a mains soc ket, insert the mains
plug into the mains soc ket of theex tern al

Insert thech arging cable connector into vehi-
cle soc ket connection 8tothe stop. If the
wa llbox/charging station is not equipped with
a ch arging cable, inse rtthe plug of theve hi-
cle's charging cable into thewa llbox/charging
station soc ketto the stop.
Make sure that thech arging cable is not taut
when inser ted. The
# indicator lamp 4and status dis-
play 30ash orange and, as soon as the high-
vo ltage battery is charge d, green.
When thech arging cable is connected totheve hi-
cle, theve hicle cann otbe star ted or mo ved.
At the start of thech arging process, thech arge
le ve l display is shown in the Instrument Display
with a charging prediction. The charging predic-
tion either refers to the predicted charge leve l at
th e set departure time, or the time at which the
high- voltage battery will be fully charge d.
