Ifthe easy entryandexitfeature is active,thesteering wheel will moveupwards andthe driv‐er's seat will moveback inthefollowing situa‐tions:
Ryou switchthe ignition off whenthe driver'sdoor is open
Ryou openthe driver's door whenthe ignitionis switched off
%Thesteering wheel will moveupwards onlyifit is not already as high as it will go. The driv‐er's seat will movebackwards only if it is notalready intherearmost position.
Thesteering wheel andthe driver's seat willmovebacktothe last drive position inthefol‐lowing cases:
Ryou switchthe power supplyorthe ignitionon whenthe driver's door is closed
Ryou closethe driver's door whenthe ignitionis switched on

#Only usethe memory function onthedriver's side whenthevehicle isstation‐ary.
&WARNINGRisk of entrapment when set‐tingthe seat withthe memory function
Whenthe memory function adjuststhe seatorsteering wheel,you andothervehicleoccupants – particularlychildren – couldbecome trapped.
#Duringthe setting procedure ofthememory function, ensurethat no bodyparts are inthe sweep ofthe seat orthesteering wheel.

Usingthe cigarettelighter inthe front centerconsole

You can burnyourself ifyoutouchthe hotheating element orthe socket ofthe ciga‐rette lighter.
In addition,flammable materials may igniteif:

Usingthe115 V socket in therear passengercompartment
&DANGERRisk offatal injury duetodam‐aged connecting cables or sockets
If a suitable device is connected,the115 Vsocket will be carrying a highvoltage. Iftheconnecting cable orthe115 V socket ispulled out ofthe trim or is damaged orwet,you couldreceivean electric shock.
#Only use dry and damage-free connect‐ing cables.
#Whenthe ignition is switched off,ensurethatthe115 V socket is dry.
#Ifthe115 V socket is damaged orgetspulled out ofthe paneling, immediatelyhavethe socketchecked orreplaced ataqualified specializedworkshop.
#Never plugthe connecting cable into a115 V socketthat is damaged or hasbeen pulled out ofthe trim.
&DANGERRisk offatal injury duetoincor‐rect handling ofthe socket
You couldreceivean electric shock:
Rifyoureach intothe socket.
Rifyou insert unsuitable devices or objectsintothe socket.
#Only connect suitable devicestothesocket.

Vehicles with individualrear seats
You canchargea USB device, e.g. a mobilephone, at USB ports1using a suitablecharg‐ing cable. The devices can becharged with 5 V(2.1 A) and whenthe ignition is switched on.
Refrigerator box
Usingtherefrigerator box
&WARNINGRisk offireduetoa coveredvent grille ontherefrigerator box
Ifyou coverthevent grillefortherefrigeratorbox, it mayoverheat.
#Always make surethatthevent grille isnot covered.
Theventilation grillefortherefrigerator box is inthe trunk.Therefrigerator box can bear a maximum load of7.7 lb (3.5kg).
Store only plastic bottles inthe upper compart‐ment oftherefrigerator box. The contents ofthebottle must be no morethan17fl. oz. (0.5 l).
Ifyou do not needtousetherefrigerator boxforanextended periodyou should switchit off,defrost it and clean it. After doing so, leavethelid openfor a time.
Therefrigerator box willreduce its cooling capa‐city or switch off inthefollowing cases:
Rtoo many electrical consumers are turned on
Rthestarter battery is not sufficientlycharged
Ifthis isthe case,the indicator lamps willflashonthe buttonfor switchingtherefrigerator boxon and off. The cooling function will automati‐cally switch back on as soon asthere is suffi‐cientvoltage.

Automatic driving lights functionThe parking lights, low beam and daytimerun‐ning lamps are switched on automaticallydepending onthe ignitionstatus andthe ambi‐ent light.
&WARNINGRisk of accident whenthe lowbeam is switched off in poor visibility
Whenthe light switch is setto X,the lowbeam may not be switched on automaticallyifthere isfog, snow orother causes of poorvisibility such as spray.
#In such cases, turnthe light switchto X.
The automatic driving lights are only an aid.Yo uareresponsibleforvehicle lighting.
