entire route. In built-up areas, electric mode is
prefer red, while on the mo torw ay the internal
combustion engine is used.

the automatic transmission is shiTed to
position h,you can manually shiT it with the
stee ring wheel gearshiT paddle. If permitted, the
automatic transmission shiTs toa higher or lo wer
ge ar depending on the steering wheel gearshiT
paddle being pulled.

thefo llowing conditions
are met:
R Drive prog ram ; is selected.
R The speed is within a suitable range.
R The road's course is suitable, e.g. no steep
uphill or downhill inclines or tight bends.
R There is no trailer hitched up tothe trailer
hitch, and no bicycle rack Fitted.
R You do not depress the accelerator or brake
pedal (e xcept for light brake applications).
% Glide mode can also be activated if you ha ve
selected the "Eco" setting forth e drive in the

Glide mode is deactivated again if one of the con-

ity for high-voltage charging of your vehi-
cle. Pur chase these parts at a Mercedes-
Benz Service Centre and obtain advice

Check the maximum charging cur rent
using thech arging capacity shown in the
driver's displa y. The
charging cable supplied is set toa countr y-
speci/c maximum charging cur rent value. When
ch arging abroad, the maximum value may exceed
th e permitted value forth at countr y. #

ch arging cable is reconnected, charging at the
mains soc ket is not possible. The charging cable
must be replaced or theve hicle plug must be
ch ecked at a quali/ed specialist workshop,
