Mercedes-Benz AGcannot, despite carefully
de veloping vehicle systems, comple tely rule out
th e interaction of vehicle systems with elect ronic
medical aids such as card iac pacemakers.
In addition, there are components installed in the
ve hicle that, rega rdless of the operating status of
th eve hicle, can generate magnetic /elds on a par
with permanent magnets. These /elds can be
fo und, forex ample, in the area around the multi-
media and sound system or also in the area of the
seats, depending on theve hicle equipment.
Fo rth is reason, thefo llowing can occur in isolated
cases, depending on the aids used:
R Medical aids malfunctioning
R Adve rse health e.ects
Obser vethe no tes and warnings of the manufac-
turer of the medical aids; if in doubt, contact the
device manufacturer and/or your doctor. If there
is continuing uncer tainty concerning the possibil-
ity of medical aids malfunctioning, Mercedes- Benz
AGrecommends using only fewelectrical
ve hicle systems and/or main taining a distance
from the components.

distance of at least an arm's length between the

th e opposite side on the B-pillar. In theev ent of
an accident, rescue services can use the QR code
to quickly /nd the appropriate rescue card for
yo ur vehicle. The cur rent rescue card contains the
most impor tant information about your vehicle in
a compact form , e.g. thero uting of the electric

R A person's arms or legs are moving in the sen-
sor de tection range, e.g. when polishing the
ve hicle or picking up objects.
R Objects are mo ved or placed behind theve hi-
cle, such as a /lling pump hose, a charging
cable or lug gage.
R Clamping straps, tarp aulins or other co verings
are pulled overth e bumper.
R A pro tective mat with a leng threaching over
th e boot sill down into the de tection range of
th e sensors is used.
R The pr otective mat is not secured cor rectl y.
R Workis being done on the trailer hitch, trailers
or rear bicycle rack s.

u can charge a USB device, such as a mobile
phone, at the USB ports using a suitable charging
cable. Depending on theve hicle equipment, the
devices can be charge d with up to20 V (5 A)

vent grille forth ere frigerator box is in the
boot.
The refrigerator box can bear a maximum load of
3.5 kg.
The upper co mpartment of there frigerator box
can accommodate, forex ample, plastic bottles with a maximum capacity of 0.5 lit
res and cans
with a capacity of up to0.33 litres
If yo u do not need touse there frigerator box for
an extended period, you should switch it o.,
defrost it and clean it. ATer doing so, lea vethe lid
open for a time.
More condensation may occur during intensive
use. Cleaning may be requ ired.
The refrigerator box will reduce its cooling capa-
city or switch o. in thefo llowing cases:
R Too many electrical consumers are turned on.
R The star ter battery is not su1ciently charge d.
If th is is the case, the indicator lamps will 0ash on
