Do
not drive through flooded areas.Check
the depth ofany water before driving

If the exhaust pipeisblock edoradequate
vent ilation isnot possible, poisonous gases
such ascarbon monoxide(CO) mayenter
the vehicle. Thisisthe case, e.g.ifthe vehi-
cle becomes trappedinsnow. Thereisarisk
of fatal injury.
If you leave theengin eor the auxiliary heat-
ing runn ing,make suretheexhaust pipeand
area around thevehicle areclear ofsnow.
To ensure anadequate supplyoffresh air,
open awindow onthe side ofthe vehicle
that isnot facin gint othe wind.
Have yourvehicle winter-proofedataqualified
specialist workshopatthe onset ofwinter .
Driv epartic ularly carefully onslippery road
surfaces .Avoid sudden accelerat ion,steer ing
and brakin gmaneuver s.Do not use cruise
con trol.
If the vehicle threatens toskid orcann otbe
stopped whenmovin gat low speed:
