The electronic device is basically the same as that in
the conventional 4G1 engine.
The employed alternator is a lightweight type in
which the electronic voltage regulator for detecting
the battery voltage is built.
The employed starter motor is a small planetary gear
reduction drive type.
The employed spark plug is a long reach type with
iridium.
The employed ignition coil is a plug top type in which
the powertrain per cylinder is built.

3. The dash side brace has been manufactured as an unit in order to strengthen the joint between
the front sidemember and the front pillar, increas
-
ing the rigidity of the entire body.
4. The installation position of the steering gearbox has been lowered, and the sidemember from the
front to the rear has been straightened in order to
improve rigidity of the entire body.
