Operating range for starting the engine

The operating range is the interior of the vehicle.NOTE

Even if the F.A.S.T.-key is within the operating range, it
may not be possible to start the engine if the key is in a
storage space such as the glove compartment, on top of
the instrument panel, or in the door pocket or luggage
compartment.


Even if the F.A.S.T.-key is outside the vehicle, it may be
possible to start the engine if the key is too close to a door
or door window.
To operate using the F.A.S.T.-key

To l o c kWhile carrying the F.A.S.T.-key, press the LOCK switch (A) of
the driver’s door, front passenger door or the rear hatch within
the operating range to lock all the doors and rear hatch.
The turn signal lights will blink once and the buzzer will sound
once.

hatch” on pages 3-53, 3-56 and 3-59 respectively.

Interior light auto-cutout function (dome light
and other lights)

If any of the interior lights are left on with the ignition switch
in the “LOCK” position, the lights go off automatically after
about 30 minutes.
The lights come on again if the ignition switch is turned to the
“ON” or “ACC” position, any door or the rear hatch is opened
and closed, or the keyless entry system or F.A.S.T.-key is oper-
ated.NOTE

The interior light auto-cutout function can be deactivated.
The time until the lights automatically go off can be
adjusted. See your authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealer
for details.
For vehicles equipped with the Mitsubishi Multi-Commu-
nication System, adjustments can be made using screen
operations. For details, refer to the separate owner’s man-
ual.
1- (ON)
The light illuminates regardless of whether the rear hatch is
open or closed.
2-
The light illuminates when the rear hatch is opend, and goes
off when the rear hatch is closed.
3- (OFF)
The light remains off regardless of whether the rear hatch is
open or closed.
