The day/night knob (A) at
the bottom of the
mirror can be used to adjust the mirror to reduce the glare from the headlights of vehi- cles behind you during night driving.
When the headlights of the vehicles behind you are very bright, the reflection factor ofthe rearview mirror is automatically changed to reduce the glare. Normally, use the automatic mode. When the ignition switch is turned to the “ON” position or the operation mode is put in ON, the greenindicator (1) illuminates and the reflection factor of the mirror is automatically changed.

Your passenger’s side mirror is convex. The objects you see in the mirror will looksmaller and farthe
r away than they
appear in a regular flat mirror. Do not use this mirror to estimate the dis- tance of vehicles following you whenchanging lanes.

When the rear window defogger switch is pressed with the engine running, the outsiderearview mirrors are defogged or defrosted. Current will flow thr
ough the heater element
inside the mirrors, thus clearing away frost orcondensation. The indicator light (A) will illuminate while the defogger is on. The heater will be turned off automatically in about 20 minutes.

WA R N I N G Never rely solely on the rear-view camera to clear the area behind your vehicle. Always check visually behind and all around your vehicle fo
r persons, animals,
obstructions or other vehicles. Failure to do so can result in
vehicle damage, serious
injury or death. The rear-view camera is an aid system for backing up, but it is not a substitute foryour visual confirmation. The view on the screen is limited, and objects outside the view, such as under the bumper or around either corner of the bumper, cannot be seen on the screen.

nge the language of the
warning messages on the screen. 1. Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” posi- tion or put the operation mode in ON. 2. Put the gearshift lever or the selector lever in the “R” (REVERSE) position. 3. Press and hold down the switch (1) toenter language selection mode (for 6 to 11 seconds). In this mode, the image appears and thegreen indicator (2) comes on.
