Hinaaminen HN25AOE
Ajoneuvoanne voi hinata joko toinen ajoneuvo hinauskoyden
avulla tai hinausauto.
Hinausta koskevat saadokset saattavat vaihdella maasta maa
han . On suositeltavaa, etta
noudatatte sen maan saannoksia
missa ajatte ajoneuvollanne.
1. Hinaus koyden avulla
Hinauskoukut (A) sijaitsevat kuvan
osoittamissa paikoissa. Kiinnittakaa hi
n au skoysi aina
hinauskoukkuihin (A).
& VAROITUS Alkaa yrittako kayttaa tilapaisia
koukkuja (8) hinaukseen. Muiden kuin varsinaisten hinaus
koukkujen (A) kaytto voi vahingoittaa ajoneuvon koria.

Jos ajoneuvoanne joudutaan hinaamaan , kiinnittakaa huomiota seuraaviin seikkoihin:
(1) Siirtakaa vaihde (kasivaihteisto) tai valitsinvipu (automaattivaihteisto) vapaalle tai "N " -asentoon. (2) Siirtakaa vaihdevipu asentoon "2H". (3) Ajoneuvoissa joissa on takatasauspybrastbn lukkojar
jestolmii, asetetaan lukkokytkin OFF-asentoon. (4) Alkaa ylittakb laillista hinausnopeutta .
Lisiiksi jos auto on seuraavantyyppinen, varmistakaa, etta
alia ilmoitettua hinausnopeutta j a -matkaa ei kosk aan
yliteta .
Autot joissa on automaattinen vaihteisto
Hinausnopeus: 30 km/h
Hinausmatka: 30 km
(5) Jos vaihteisto on vaurioitunut, tai jos automaattivaih
teistolla varustettua ajoneuvoa taytyy hinata enemman
kuin 30 km, hinatkaa takapybrat ylbsnostettuina. (6) Kaiintiikaa virta-avain "ACe -tai "ON" -asentoon , jolloin
ohjauspybra vapautuu. (7) Kytkekaa nelivilkku paalle.
taa ajoneuvojen tbrmaamisen toisiinsa. (9) Koska moottori ei kay, jarrutehostin ja ohjaustehostimen pumppu eivat toimi. Tama tarkoittaa sita, etta vaaditaan
suurempaa jarrutusvoimaa ja voimakkaampaa ohjauslii
ketta.
Nainollen kasittely on vaikeampaa kuin normaalisti .

If your vehicle is to be towed, pay careful attention to the following points:
(1) Move the gearshift lever (manual transmission) or the
selector lever (automatic transmission) to neutral or the "N".
(2) Move the transfer shift lever to "2H" position. (3) Vehicles with rear differential lock system , turn off the rear
differantial lock switch. (4) Be sure the towing speed is within the legal limit. In addition, if the vehicle is of the following type , make sure that the towing speed and distance given below are never
exceeded .
Vehicles
with an automatic transmission Towing speed : 30 km/h (19 mph ) Towing distance : 30 km (19 miles)
(5) If the transmission is malfunctioning or damaged , or if a
vehicle with an automatic transmission must be towed farther than 30 km (19 miles), tow the vehicle with the rear
wheels raised off the ground. (6) Turn the ignition switch to the "ACe or "ON" position to unlock the steering wheel. (7) Turn on the hazard warning lamps . (8) During towing make sure that close contact is maintained between the drivers of both vehicles, and that the vehicles travel at low speed. Avoid abrupt starting or stopping which might subject the vehicles to shock . (9) As the engine is not running, the brake booster and power steering pump do not operate . This means higher brak e
depression force and higher steering effort are required.
Th erefore, operation is more
difficult than usual.

Anti-freeze
The engine coolant contains an ethylen e glycol anti-corrosion
agent. The cylinder head and water pump housing are cast aluminum alloy, and periodic changing of the engine coolant is
necessary to prevent corrosion of these parts.
Because of the necessity of this anti-corrosion agent. the coolant must not be replac ed with plain water even in summer.
The required concentration of anti-freeze differs depending on
the expected ambient temperat ure.

For effective anti-corrosion and anti-freeze performance. keep the anti-fr,eeze concentration within the range of 30 to 60%.
Concentrations exceeding 60% will result in a reduction of both the anti-freeze and cooling performance thus adversely affecting the engine.
During cold weather
If the te mper atures in your area drop b elow freezing , th ere is the

Jarruneste HM08A·Ma
Tarkastakaa jarrunestesailibn nestepinta. Nestepinnan tulisi olla sail ibn "A" -ja "MAX" -viivojen valissa. Varoitusvalo
syttyy, kun nestepinta laskee "MAX":n alapuolelle. Jarrunesteen pinta alenee
hieman, kun jarrupalat kuluvat. mutta se on aivan normaalia. Jos jarrunesteen
maara vahenee nopeasti, on vuoto jarrujarjestelmassa.
Ottakaa tallbin yhteys valtuutettuun MITSUBISHI-huoltoliikkeeseen huoltoa varten.
Kayta
DOT 3 tai DOT 4 tai vastaavaa jarrunestetta . Jarruneste
on hygroskooppista. Jos jarrunesteessa on liian paljon kosteutta, se vaikuttaa negatiivisesti jarrujarjestelmaan va
hentaen jarrutustehoa.
Lisaksi jarrunestesailibssa on erityinen korkki, joka estaa ilman
sisaanpaasyn. Tata
korkkia ei saa irrottaa.
Ajoneuvossa, jossa on jarrunesteen varoitusvalo, koho monito

Brake fluid EM08A·Ma
Check the brake fluid level in the reser
voir. The brake fluid level must be between the "MAX" and "A" marks on the reservoir. The fluid level falls slightly with wear of the brake pads, but this does not indicate any abnormality. If the brake fluid level falls markedly in a
short length of time, it indicates leaks from the brake system.
If this occurs, have the vehicle checked at an authorized MITSUBISHI dealer.
Use brake
fluid conforming to DOT 3 or DOT 4. The brake fluid is hygroscopic. Too much moisture in the brake fluid will adversely affect the brake system, reducing the brake perfor
mance. In addition, the brake fluid reservoir is equipped with a
special cap to prevent the entrance of air, and this cap should not be removed .
On a vehicle with a brake fluid warning lamp, the brake fluid
level is monitored by a float. When the brake fluid level falls below the "A" mark , the brake fluid warning lamp lights up.
& CAUTION (1) Use only the specified brake fluid. Also, the additives in different brands may result in a chemical reaction when mixed together, so avoid mixing different brands if possible. (2) Brake fluid is toxic and corrosive.
